I don't think I can say enough about how awesome Marty and his crew are or how grateful I am to them, I'm just beyond glad I found them. I had a vision for what the half bath in my 1800's house could be and no idea of the challenges we'd face with the existing plumbing. Marty, Cory and Leroy went WELL above and beyond what they needed to in order to see the project through, with care and attention to detail every step of the way. True craftsmen and problem solvers!!! Very glad to have had their patience and expertise on this, and our new shower enclosure is simply stunning. Thank you!!!

We are very happy we hired Marty and his crew, AB and Leroy, to remove a wall and closet blending two bedrooms into one. They always arrived on time and worked tirelessly and efficiently. And in three days we had a wonderfully spacious bedroom finished exactly to our request. Marty is a standup guy. Honest and very knowledgeable. Everything you read about him in these reviews is true. AB and Leroy were great. They worked hard and paid extra attention to keeping the dust and debris from migrating to the rest of the house. We will definitely call them again for any future work. One note though - plan ahead. Marty’s excellent reputation means he is always busy.

Cannot say how happy I am with Marty's work. Every week day, he and his team are here and if something comes up, he is communicates impacts. Kitchen is AMAZING. He gives really good information and explains things as needed. He moved on to replacing a deck and next up is bathroom remodels. Cannot say how happy I am with his work!!

We are very pleased with the remodel of our home from Marty at The Right Hammer, Inc. Marty and his crew did an excellent job. Marty is very professional, thorough, is someone that is easy to communicate with, takes the time to listen and make suggestions based on his extensive experience. We also appreciated his down to earth, honest personality and sense of humor. We miss having him around and would call him again for any other projects we may have in the future. My dog Joe Joe definitely misses him too!!!

Flooring
This contractor, Marty, told me what he had in mind for a semi-permanent fix of the garage. We agreed on a price and the work proceeded as discussed. I can now use the garage for it's intended purpose, however the room beneath can now only be used for storage. The work went as planned and I am very happy with the results as well as the total cost was half of the quoted price. I would definitely hire this company again, in fact I have already discussed with Marty some work that I need done in the spring.

It went perfect from first day, quote, his design, to his first day starting three weeks later which is what he promised. He said he'd be done in 5 to 6 weeks. He was. The job site was always immaculate. His craftmenship was superior to any work I've ever had before. His staff was polite, funny and wonderful to have around for 6 weeks. We miss them already. The job was underbudget. We added extras- at no penalty in time to complete. After two months we can't imagine what the house looked like before. He will be back for our next job.

Our family highly recommends Marty & his team at The Right Hammer. He was timely and courteous and always made sure to check in with us on arrival times of his team and communicated with our family the next steps on each project. He always made sure to clean up and was careful about doing work that needed to be done inside our home. Speaking of his work, it is simply beautiful. After receiving quotes from other contractors, Marty's pricing was the most fair and right on par with what we thought it would be. We converted our 2 car garage into livable space and it turned out just gorgeous. We had other random jobs inside our main home, adding a beam and knocking down some walls. Along with adding in a new slider and opening up some front stairs. He started off as just a contractor, but ended as being a friend. We hope to work with him again in the future if the need arises. The Right Hammer does it all! The quality of our Family Room and over sized Garage addition are unsurpassed and are why we are a frequent return customer. Our kitchen and bathroom remodel came out far beyond our expectations (see picture). The attention to detail during our hardwood flooring, deck work, and finish work are also why we will always call The Right Hammer when we need work done. Over 30 years The Right hammer has done everything for us from fine cabinetry, upgrading kitchens and bathrooms, flooring, both wood and tile, room additions, roofing, plumbing, electrical, window replacement and painting. My husband was a nit picker and The Right Hammer passed the test. The price was always reasonable.

New Exterior door required a lot of work to get it square and plumb, (old one was not) it closes and deadbolt locks smoothly. I couldn't have done that. That took a lot of experience, reframing, shimming, trimming and patience to get it right. Its solid and very well trimmed. Installed deadbolts on doors that did not have them, and got them to close solidly. Leaking sunroom window was extraordinary work, no glass business I called will work on glass that is not vertical! Since Marty has built sunrooms like this in his past, he knew how to solve the issue. He fashioned custom bent flashing to cover the old wood trim, and keep water away from the wood and glass seals to prevent future issues. Quick response (in a rainy December) and a good price. He has a lot of experience building homes, doing repairs, has sound advice on how to solve unusual issue, add onto the house, do kitchen renovation. Very professional

The bill was very fair, the work done in a very short time, and all is well. He has done both large and small jobs for us, and we have always been very pleased with his work and his commitment to any task. Last year he put a new roof on our barn. That was a big job, It was done in a few days, and again, the price was very fair. Also, he never leaves any mess when the job is done, Everything is cleaned up and carted away when necessary. When ever, we have a problem with anything around our home, "The Right Hammer" is the one we call.

We needed to have the downstairs bathroom in my home renovated to replace the tub with a walk in shower. We needed this done quickly due to my mother's illness. Marty came down on a Sunday to scope the job and rearranged his schedule to meet the timing of when the tile arrived. Despite it being the middle of the winter- New England weather Marty drove an hour to give my mother her dream bathroom. He didn't even complaint (out loud anyhow) about my scope creep of the project! True professional, focus to detail and getting it right. Takes pride in how the project turns out- not just trying "get it done" - it needs to be right. Very appreciative of Marty and his workmanship. Heck, even my dog liked him, and she doesn't like many!
