Joe called back next day and said he could check out the pipes in an hour. He arrived earlier than stated, and his quote was fair. He told me even if he ran into complications, his quote remained the same. He quoted 1 hr for work and completed in 30 min.

SENIORS BEWARE! he was hired to remove a propane hot water heater and install an electric one. Due to the limited space I told him I needed the "skinny" type and I had one picked out. He installed a fat, short one that has zero clearance with the furnace, In additional he did not put it on a cement round. Just with the bottom right on the floor. The drain is 1/2 inch up off the floor. This will be under water the first snow melt. Also one needs to e a contortionist to open the panels. Wow, no temperature adjuster in either. What a joke. Then he recommended an electrician who tried to charge me double over the estimate, no doubt to split with the plumber.

Great guy, very knowledgeable, prompt/excellent service. He actually ran into a few snafus during the install, and very calmly and proficiently made changes and finished the project in a timely fashion. Also, his prices were very reasonable, and he kept us informed every step of the way. We are definitely hiring Joe again in the near future.

I hired Joe to demolish a one piece fiberglass tub & shower combo and install a four piece fiberglass walk in shower. The price quoted for materials and labor was extremely reasonable compared to another quote I had received to do the same project. Joe was very courteous and did an excellent job of removing all debris and left my home in very good shape after completion of the project. The only negative was the buddy he recommended to repair the drywall around the new shower. His buddy Joe Martel never showed up to do the drywall repair. This had me scrambling to find another contractor. Joe never followed up with me to see if the drywall work got done. That's why I give him a 4.5 overall score. I would hire him again for plumbing work. However, needs to work on his customer service in terms of making sure his clients have been satisfied.

Joe came same day and completed the job in expert fashion at a very affordable price. Saved us at least a few hundred dollars. Highly recommend this fellow.

Very Knowledgeable

it is hard to really say the overall rating. It was work on the sewer pipe and it is buried. Time will tell. So far, so good. Work on the valve flapper and the washer was good. Seems to know his stuff and cost was reasonable.

Did not end up with a tankless. Wouldn't be able to justify the electric cost. Went from propane to electric. He brought his own electrician and combined they were done in just over 3 hours. They did a great job and his price ended up lower than he quoted me initially.

He went down into my basement opened the water lines that had been shut off so that he could locate the breaks in the line then he left my house forgetting to turn the water lines back off. Basic plumbing 101 I would think find the repair point then turn the water back off! I didn't know what he had done till the next day. I had lost at least 1700 gallons of water per my town water reading. Thats what I was already over in usage for that billing cycle, which I have never been in for the 14 years lived in my home-and that was a mid cycle reading. This guy owes me money! He did not fix 1 thing. Joe did a thorough job of installing a new hot water heater for us and replacing a spout in a bath. His fee was very reasonable. He was easy to communicate with, responsible about the whole process and knowledgeable. We highly recommend him.
