I had the pleasure of working with Anthony and his team. My roof is at the end of its life and I need some repairs after all the rain and wind we experienced. I had another roofer that came by and did a quick job and was happy to take my money. Not being experienced in this I decided to get another opinion and that is were I met Anthony and his team. Anthony is super professional and I valued how direct he was and that he used a drone to survey my roof (which is at the end of its life). We discovered the other roofer had used tar to seal any issues caused by wind and rain and did the bare minimum. Had I known the other roofer was going to use tar I would have never hired them. With the snow storm on the way, Anthony and his team was able to come the next day; repair as needed. He was very detailed explaining every item that he did. I will be using Anthony and his team again for a full roof replacement in the spring/summer.

There was a lot of Cash involved- wanted up front Cash not check for work. I had expected to pay as a down payment, 1/3-1/2 way through and then final payment but I had not expected cash payment. Also the final cost was 10K more than the estimate (we did have some extra findings once work started that extended the project but the extra work was estimated at 3K more not 10K more)-- I am happy with the final product and they did a good job of cleaning up. Crew was very nice while they were on the property

I had been searching for someone to make repairs to my roof after I had a leak. One of the contractors informed me that there was no ridge vent on the peak, and there was no air circulating in my attic. He, as well as others, try to talk you into replacing your entire roof. Since finances are an issue for a lot of seniors, that was not something that I could do. I remembered speaking with Anthony from Tar Star Roofing in the past, but this was my first experience having him do any repairs. The gentleman that came and did the work was very pleasant and polite, and did a wonderful job. Anthony's price was within my budget, and the work was completed in just a few hours. For anyone looking for repairs I highly recommend Tar Star Roofing.

Anthony and team were great to work with. Kept me apprised every step of the way. Used a drone to get overhead footage of the damage to my roof so I can see what needed to be done. I appreciated the transparency and not just being billed for work that didnâ t need to get done if it didnâ t have to be. Project in one day. Took less than a week from booking to project completion. Would definitely recommend and use again

My biggest displeasure was; His taking advantage of overseeing things to do in order to raise the bill. In the beginning, he quoted $6500.00 but end up charging me $16000.00, a totally dishonest person.

Tar Star was very responsive and came out quickly to begin the repair work on my house caused by water damage. As the work progressed he found considerably more work that needed to be done and he worked with us to ensure that the work was done correctly and that the problem that caused the issue would not be repeated in the future. His workforce were very professional, respectful, and maintained good housekeeping throughout the job.
