Tar Star Roofing (Anthony) responded in one day, inspected my roof and provided a quote the next day. The crew started work a couple days later, very professional, experienced and courteous. They completed the job on time and to my complete satisfaction. Communications from Anthony were constant, including recommendations on additional repairs as damage was found, photo documentation and expert advice. I highly recommend Tar Star Roofing for any roofing needs.

This started as a relatively small repair, complicated by some water damage over the years. Required replacing two sheets of plywood, ice and water barrier, shingles, removal and reinstall of the vinyl and fascia. Tar Star was upfront with their suspicions and analysed the situation correctly. As it turned out later, they were correct with their predictions. The root cause was improperly installed shingles in one section of the roof, which were cut too short, which caused the water and ice accumulating under, eventually making its way to the board and rotting it out. The job took one day overall, split up in two parts, Sunday and Monday. I provided part of the material (shingles). The actual cost was in the estimated range. Tar Star provided good recommendations, conducted the repair efficiently, without unnecessary work or upsell, focusing on quality, longevity, and cost efficiency. I know I will have to replace the roof at some point, probably when installing solar equipment. This bought me a few more years for my old roof, which is what I wanted. Overall, nice guys. Recommended!

The crew arrived on time and promptly got to work. They repaired the flashing at the peak of the roof and inspected the underlying woodwork for rot. Finished the job quickly. Both employees were cutoureous and profesional. I would hire them again and recommend them to family and friends.

We had a very small job - flashing had pulled loose with high winds. Anthony was very responsive and got his crew out quickly. They were very efficient and competent. Anthony didnâ t charge us a for the repair as his crew was able to just nail our flashing back in place. However they still needed to use a tall ladder to reach it. Anthonyâ s kindness and more than fairness was totally unexpected but greatly appreciated!

Tar Star does top quality work and is adept at all facets of roofing, from slate to rubber to asphalt shingles. Whatever you need, they will do it right.

Anthony and Tar Star will do it the job right, whatever it takes. My project included windows, flashing, slate, rubber, and asphalt shingles and Tar Star handled them all and delivered top quality work.

Anthony of Tar Star has been plowing our driveway for years. He's thorough, prompt, and super friendly. My young kids love watching him go by, and he even let my 5yo son ride in the truck for a pass!

Tar Star was a really great choice for us. They were so responsive to our needs in terms of timing, style and communications. Anthony kept us fully informed on price, issues that arose during the job and all aspects of the job.
