I had a great experience with Millyard Home inspections. I felt he was very thorough, took his time to properly evaluate everything and he answered all of my questions. He was also respectful of my home, which is important! I unfortunately had a bad experience with a contractor who did a significant amount of work on my house. Millyard home inspections came out and evaluated all of the contractors work and told me what was done correctly and what wasn’t. I truly appreciated his input. I would highly recommend them! I couldn’t be happier with Dan and Millyard Home Inspection. He was first to call, within 30 seconds of submitting request and had the lowest price out of anyone I talked to. We were scheduled within days and he was very thorough. Final report was delivered in <24 hours and was also very detailed. Dan was professional and took great care to explain all his findings. We have a high confidence in purchasing our home because of Dan’s attention to detail. Five stars!!

Dan responded quickly to my request for a new home inspection. He did a thorough inspection and explained many of the electrical and mechanical systems to me which was helpful. However, his final inspection report was inaccurate and did not report on some key concerns that he noted during the inspection and took pictures of those concerns. I contacted him and he revised the report. He also used a template response on the stove ventilation that was completely inaccurate. He noted a concern of inside venting which was actually outside vented on the stove. I would NOT recommend his services due to the poor and inaccurate quality of his final report.

Dan was very informative let us know what he was doing every step of the way asked if we had any questions. Could not have been happier with him.

Dan is amazing. As a first time home buyer, I was eager to learn more about my home. Dan allowed me to walk the property with him and talked me through everything that he was looking for, and any issues he saw in/on/around the house. His inspection report was incredibly detailed and answered all of the questions I had about my house.

If you're looking for and inspector who works to get you an honest and complete assessment, is willing to answer all of your questions and offer guidance, someone who is very good at their job, independent about his mission, not beholden to any realtor and treats you like family, Dan and Millyard are the correct choice. As icing on the cake, he is pretty darn personable with a great sense of humor too.
