SC-Lawn & Plowing LLC

We had contacted SC Lawn for snow plowing our driveway. They promptly came by and gave us an estimate of $40 each plowing. The first snow storm we encountered ended early morning. My husband ending up snowblowing the driveway himself around noon. We never saw the snowplow truck come by. When we contacted the company they told us they do not come out until 1 to 5 hours after the storm ends. They stated they had been by at 3:00 p.m. but we were already plowed out. The second snow storm ended around 4:00 a.m. We waited until 9:00 a.m. before taking any action. When we contacted the company they stated it would be at least two more hours before they could service us. My husband stated this was unacceptable - given committment of 5 hours after storm being latest arrival. The individual on the phone then informed my husband that his truck was too big for our driveway - making it impossible for them to snow plow us anyways. When my husband pushed as to why they gave us an estimate if their equipment could not service our needs - the individual on the phone stated he was not the one who provided the estmate. We are extremely disappointed - this company should have been honest from the beginning. If they had made a mistake they should have contacted us immediately and let us know that they could not service our needs. We find this company very unprofessional.
