Derek's team was outstanding! They worked clean, they showed up ever day on time, they were professional always being mindful of my property and home. Cleaned up ever day. His work was excellent. Derek called me with any questions or concerns. Most of all Derek was very fair and competitive with his pricing for all the work completed. Could not believe how quickly his team worked on completing everything that needed to be done. My house is solid now, and has put my mind at ease. Quality work! It went very smooth . Derek response was quick and professional . Gave me estimate the same day and although he wasn't the lowest money wise but he could start in couple days , the other companies I got response from , couldn't start for another month or so . Derek crew arrived the day at 7 am and work till dark for next 4 days in 40 miles/hr winds , just to make sure they will finish b4 rains . Derek is the best guy for any of Your roofing needs . the roof looks great and is warrantied for 50 years but I would hire him again if for any reason I would need his help . Called him 3 times. The first time I left a message and didn't return my call. The second time U left a message and returned my call and said he would come out the next day to get estimate and never came. The third call he never returned.

On Saturday, the materials arrived and were placed where I specified on the work form. Monday morning the trash container arrived shortly before Derek and crew arrived early. Derek introduced me to all of his workers and within a half hour the team was on the roof. Before Derek left to work on a repair job, I told him about the sunroom roof and he gave me an excellent price on the spot, which included having to purchase more material to complete the job. All together, the two main roof surfaces (minus the nearly vertical edges) were stripped, 6' of rain/ice shield, paper on the remaining surfaces, flashing, pipe boots, and cap materials plus the sunroom (13' x 17') roof with complete rain/ice shield coverage was completed in about 8 to 8.5 hours. The crew worked constantly, took a quick break for lunch, and continued until the job was done. All areas around the house were completely clean when they left. The trash container was picked up the next day. As for the crew, they were very respectful and hard workers. The roof looks amazing as Derek was able to match the shingle color in a superior roofing product and the quality of the work is exceptional. Within a couple weeks of the job, I received a warranty document from the shingle manufacturer. Derek is easy to talk to, very responsive and a pleasure to do business with. I will highly recommend him and his company to my friends and anyone else in need of roofing services.

Derek and his crew were awesome! We had a new roof done and they took extra care to protect bushes, flowers, patio, gazebo, deck etc. Not to mention that the roof came out awesome! Derek inspects the job every step of the way personally. When they left our yard you'd never know anyone was here with the exception of a brand new gorgeous roof!

Derek and his crew were on time and completed the job in one day. They cleaned up the mess, not a single nail left in my property. Derek's prices are extremely competetive and his work is superior.

Great job, they went above and beyond on the repair. they corrected issues that caused the old roof to warp by adding venting to let out the moisture.

Derek communicated all details in a timely manner. On the day of install he discovered that the plywood under the shingles was rotting (and wasn't sufficiently thick plywood when originally installed). He offered to show me the plywood's condition on the roof and I confirmed his findings. All the plywood was replaced at cost of materials, chimney removed and hole patched, shingles applied, and the gutters were installed. Additionally, his crew covered the grounds adjacent to the house to catch debris. Clean-up followed the install including a follow-up visit the next morning to insure work was complete. A-Plus! The entire project went smoothly, even when we ran into a complication with our roof. Derek was responsive to emails and calls right from the first request for a quote to the completion of the project. He was punctual for all appointments. We enjoyed working with Derek right from our first meeting; he is friendly and easy to talk with. Our materials and the project dumpster were delivered as scheduled. On the day of the project (one good day in between rainy days), Derek and his crew arrived on time, expecting a relatively straight-forward job on our colonial. His crew, who are professional and friendly, quickly "wrapped" the house to protect it from falling debris and began to remove the old shingles. As the shingles were removed, however, we discovered that the original plywood was in bad shape: dry rotted, splitting and delaminating. Derek very clearly showed us the problems (we were willing to go up on the roof) and discussed the pros and cons of using the existing roof; we decided to replace the plywood. Derek was able to quickly arrange for the delivery of new plywood while his crew began removing the old sheathing. Even with this unexpected complication, Derek and his crew were able to finish the roof, along with the other repair and ventilation projects. In addition, Derek realized that there were going to be enough surplus and shingled our shed so that it would match the house (as well as helping with another small project as a favor to us). His crew carefully cleaned up the site and left early in the evening. Derek then did a walk-around with us, making sure that we were satisfied with all the new work and the cleanup. All the work was excellent and the invoice was for the price we had agreed upon (plus the amount for each sheet of plywood replaced, which had been clearly indicated in the original quote). We highly recommend him.

The work was performed the next week and finished within two days

The entire experience was exceptional! Derek priced out the job within 48 hours of my contacting him. The quote was right in line with our expectations and the work started as soon as the weather allowed. While the job was straightforward, Derek's team did find some areas that required extra attention (faulty flashing around the chimney, for example). They remediated as needed- without adding to the bottom line- and didn't miss a beat. Much to our delight- Derek and his team completed the ENTIRE job in about 7 hours and this included over an hour of truly meticulous cleanup of the entire perimeter of the house (and even our neighbor's driveway). There was not a nail or scrap of material left anywhere on our property and his team took extra care with our new spring plantings. It was truly remarkable to benefit from such conscientious workmanship. We're already working to engage Derek's firm to complete a full re-siding of our house next year. We simply cannot recommend them highly enough; this is one firm that is truly doing everything right! You will not regret hiring Derek and his team!

Derek definitely earns a 5 star rating. He is great to work with. The crew works fast and hard. Quality work is a priority and they are very respectful of their customer's property. Clean up was impeccable. Anyone needing a new roof need not look any farther. Derek is #1.

It went great, beginning with Derek temporarily patching the roof before the biggest snow storm of the season, to prevent any leaks prior to being able to schedule the job. Once scheduled, they arrived on time on the scheduled day. Derek and a crew of 5 completed the job in just over 1 day, including all new plywood on the original part of the house, which was warping and de-laminating This was an issue with the original contractor, not Derek. None of the plants or shrubs around the house had any damage because, they had draped the entire house in netting, to protect them from all of the old roofing material which they removed. They also cleaned all the gutters, and installed new gutter guards for us. They spent about 3 hours cleaning up after the job, including 3 or 4 sweeps with a large magnetic bar on wheels, which picked up most of the nails. Other than the new roof, you wouldn't know that they had been there. They were a pleasure to do business with.

The main reason I choose Derek is that he is clearly a hardworking person who cares about his work product. While Derek's company was not initially the cheapest, it was extremely reasonable and I got more than I bargained for...while replacing my roof Derek fixed several unknown issues without adding any additional costs, which is something I think I would have been "surprised" with by the other companies. The crew was very respectful of my home making sure every nail was found and picked up before they left at the end of the day and made my home safe for the two days they were on site. For most contractors I am usually a nightmare client due to my perfectionism, but Derek never heard a word from me about his work. Something, I greatly appreciate. I highly recommend Derek and welcome any requests for further detail.

Derek and his team did a great job from the start. Derek came to the house, surveyed everything and answered all of my questions and concerns. He delivered a very competitive quote. His team showed up right on schedule and was completely professional throughout. During the project, Derek discovered a few pre-existing problems that he made sure were fixed correctly after consulting with me. Overall, I am completely happy with the work and would strongly recommend them.

I called Derek to quote my roof. I told him he quoted the previous homeowner of our house (who we bought it from 3 years ago) a price to replace the roofs which were in bad condition (in my opinion) when we bought the house. His quote, which was used during our negotiations to purchase the house, stated the roofs are performing as needed and the roof shingles are still warrantied for another 10 years and they still "have some life in them". Well three years later we now have leaks. I called him to come out and confirm his old quote and he seemed interested. After I gave him our address he said he would stop by. I have since called him and left voicemails & texted him and he will not return my calls. I can only assume he provided a bogus estimate to the previous homeowner and will not stand behind it. His quote was used as a bargaining chip to the previous owners benefit. Homeowners beware.

Derek was able to get me on the schedule even though I gave him short notice. Derek was responsive to emails, phone calls, and text messages. He and his crew were polite, professional, quick, and cleanly. Very satisfied with the results and would definitely use his services again.
