The provider was swamped. They kept me informed of delays and provided service after 5PM and on Saturday to get me taken care of. They seemed genuinely concerned about solving my problem. They stressed their service warranty on the first call, and reminded me of it when they had to return. I thought the price was fair. They focused on the problem, not recommending I get a new dishwasher. I will definitely call them again if I need them!

A great experience! Our tech, Vince D., was extremely professional. After quickly diagnosing the problem, he said it was a "pricey" fix, but he had the part with him if we wanted to go ahead with the repair. It was $260, which was far less than the cost of a new refrigerator, so we approved the repair. Within 10 minutes he had repaired and tested the valve to make sure it was no longer leaking. I could use my debit card to pay, as they are set up to swipe cards. He offered to clean up the water under the refrigerator (not from his work, it was there from the leak the prompted the service call), but I declined. He left us his card, paperwork detailing what work was done and warranty info, and a magnet with the company info in the event that we need their services again. Overall, Vince was professional, knowledgeable, efficient, friendly and courteous. Also, the person who took our call was also professional and friendly. They were able to get someone out the same day. If we ever need an appliance serviced, we will only use Nebraska Home Appliance!

The service man was on time and very friendly. He was polite to our children and pets, covered his shoes, and cleaned up after the work was finished. We were able to get the work scheduled right away, and needed to reschedule when the part arrived. Since we were out of town, Nebraska Home Appliance waited to follow up when we got back so we didn't have to hassle with the repair during vacation. Great service.

Our family has had Nebraska home appliance in our home to fix numerous things. Scheduling an appointment is always a pleasure. They answer the phone promptly, and have excellent customer service. They are great at keeping lines of communication open from start to finish, with reminder calls a day before they come out and when they are on the way. I like that the same technician comes every time, and he remembers us each time. Vince has been friendly, courteous, and efficient in getting the job done each time, while also taking time to answer any questions and offer personal and friendly customer service. I highly recommend Nebraska Home Appliance to everyone!

Shane was great.  Let my son be in there with him and still worked very quickly.  Felt very comfortable with him here and was very respectable. 

I would like you to know that you have definitely gained a loyal customer when we need a repair in the future. Brian was very honest in letting us know that to fix our washer was going to be more than one we could buy. I as a customer respect a tech who is honest. He was very pleasant and kind to talk with. Our technician even ended up by offering to replace our dryer venting system in order to avoid any type of fire hazard in the future. He worked in a timely manner and was very knowledgable. He gave us great information and was wonderful to work with. We will definitely use the company in the future!

The service was timely.  An automated phone service kept me informed on the time provider would be out to my home which was accurate.  The provider was professional, friendly and efficient.  I would definitely recommend this company.

It took a couple of tries to get it working; the wrong parts/faulty parts coupled with the fact that our wine fridge is apparently some strange complicated design, but Vince never gave up! He was very pleasant and professional to work with. We will definitely call  "Our Hometown Hero" next time we have a problem with an appliance!

I was not too sure about this outfit. BBB complaints sounded mostly legit however in my opinion they were resolved well. Of the negative reviews I read, most had been answered by the business. While the replies from the business were polite, they seemed to be a bit on the bullying side due to the shear number of business responses. The number of good reviews were far and beyond better than the other two main competitors. If things went sideways I knew that the BBB route would be the best. From the moment I called, it was great customer service. The lady was kind, polite, understanding and had a good sense of humor. I could have gotten same day service however I opted to "hide my shame" and do some dishes prior to their arrival and asked for the next day.The guy came between the specified hours. He was polite, courteous, and figured out the issue quickly. The cost to fix the part was about $100 bucks away from getting a new dishwasher from NFM, however I expected this as I had been pricing parts earlier. The job was done quickly and well. Vince D was the tech and was absolutely outstanding. If I had one complaint and yes this is petty. I did not like the email conformation sent prior to the tech coming out "It's tough to send a tech to your home without knowing for sure you'll be there" detracts from the otherwise mass email formal tone. I wanted to respond, yes it is but do I need to hear about it? That, alas, was not an option. Full disclosure I am getting a $10 in Jimmy Johns gift certificate just to write a review. My opinion is my own and was not influenced by some delicious, delicious JJBLTs.

The service man, Shane, quickly diagnosed dryer problem and gave me a price to repair.  He also gave me the cost of additional repairs that were not needed for my future reference. He changed out the bad solenoid and used his vacuum to complete clean out the exposed areas behind the front panel. 
Unfortunately for me, the refrigerator repair was more costly than replacement, so I decided to buy a new one. I got a great price at Lows with a Viet Nam Veterans discount. I highly recommend this Appliance repair company for the Omaha, NE area.

Arrived for service call within 4 hours of my initial call.  Technician was very professional and polite. He gave us a price quote and explained problem and options for repair.

Couldn't get ice to come out, then auger froze up.  Had to order parts, but came in really fast,
so the job was done in a very short 2 days.  The tech. was very qualified, very skilled in knowing
what to order, and had a great personality.  Would recommend the company in a minute.

Nebraska Home Appliance identified the problem with our dishwasher very quickly. The tech just as quickly determined that the necessary part was discontinued and advised as such. Because we have a warranty and cannot make any decisions without the warranty company's determination, Nebraska Home Appliance very quickly communicated to the warranty company what the situation was. Within hours of the NHA tech coming to our house, we were able to purchase a new dishwasher and move on! The tech arrived within the allotted timeframe, and I was notified when he was on his way. NHA was so easy and pleasant to deal with, both on the phone and in person. It's very difficult to find excellent customer service like this anymore. A+++

Replaced icemaker for second time in Samsung refrigerator under warranty.

Great. Didn't have needed part on truck, but drove to get it from warehouse and returned within 1/2 hour. Removed shoes, polite, friendly. Second time used with good results.

Our ice maker (within the refrigerator) never made much ice.  Vince ordered a part and returned in a timely manner to install the necessary part.  Vince is very punctual, professional, and very friendly.  He is a pleasure to deal with.

Works great. Very fast service, easy to schedule appt. Friendly and easy to talk to/ask questions to the technician. He took the time to snswer my questions leaving me feel good about the eotk done. Highly recommended them.

The process went well. He detected the problem, ordered the part, informed me the wait time for part and was back in two days to put on part.

Vince was courteous and prompt. He explained exactly what the problem was and how it could be fixed. He was prepared with the part and able to get the washer back working in a timely manner.

Arrived on time. 
Examined oven - found parts I would need and quoted price.
Fixed it very quickly.
Works great.
