I had a few plumbing jobs that I needed to get done, but I was procrastinating because I didn't really have any trusted recommendations for someone to do this work for me.  Through Angie's List, I found In Law Plumbing and I contacted them because they had very good reviews.  Now I know why they get such good reviews.  From beginning to end In Law Plumbing was easy to deal with.  I spoke with Scott on the phone and he was helpful, straight forward and professional.  We scheduled the work to be done a few days later. 
At the scheduled time, Bernie arrived to begin the work.  Bernie was friendly, professional, he was courteous and competent.  Bernie worked quickly and knocked out the work in an efficient manner.  He kept me informed about how the jobs were progressing and let me know about anything that was worth noting.  For example, when he was replacing the outdoor faucet, he needed to cut a hole in the downstairs ceiling to gain access to the water pipes, and when he found he needed to cut a hole larger than he expected, he explained the situation, which I appreciated.  I would recommend In Law Plumbing to anyone, and in the future I will be calling In Law Plumbing for any plumbing work.  The quality of the service, the professionalism, and the value were top notch!

We had what appeared as a leak coming from floor of upstairs bathroom into the downstairs laundry room ceiling that is below it; Was unsure as it showed dripping from 3 different areas; 
Called them at 830am. They said they would be here in an hour to hour and 1/2. They were here in less than an hour; Great responsiveness; Immediately looked at issue and figured it out very quickly. They fixed the knob and were done. The flat fee of $80/hr and then $20 for just the new knob to be replaced. 
They were incredibly polite and helpful. Did the job quickly. Will definitely be using them again for future projects at our house.

All went well and very satisfied with the work.

He was able to give us a quick appointment, showed up on time, assessed the problem, had to go to Lowes for parts, and replaces some clogged filters that were causing the low pressure issue.  He was done quickly and we were up and running in no time!

The project went great. Phil was on time and I showed him what needed to be done and he went right to work. It took a little longer then expected which was on me.  I asked him if we could still use the old sink and he said yes and this is when he had the new faucet on the new sink so he had to take off the new faucet from the new sink and put it on the old one.  The new faucet would fit on the old sink so he had to put the new faucet on the new sink again and install the new sink. So all in all it went very well and I definitely would use these guys again.

The external faucet was an Angies List deal that came up right when I needed this work done.    Phil came out for an initial look, which involved going down into my mother's crawl space under the house.  He was unfazed, and very patient in explaining what the work might eventually entail.   Scott and his brother-in-law came out a week later and did the repair.    They reviewed the situation, found a solution that would not cost me extra, and finished the job in quick order.   I am very happy with both this, and the last encounter I had with In-Law Plumbing.

There was a slow leak where the supply line attaches to the toilet.  They tightened and replaced a bad flapper.  But several days later I noticed a small puddle of water under the toilet.  We called them and they said they would come take care of it at no cost because they guarantee their work.  They came back and ended up having to replace the fill valve (with a better one) and did not charge us.  They were very punctual and responsive and professional.  We will definitely use them again in the future, if needed, and will definitely recommend them to others.

The plumber found that the fix was going to be more complicated than expected.  The suggestion was made that I buy a new faucet, which they would come back and install.   That's what we did, and the problem's solved.   They were quick and responsive.   I would definitely use them again and recommend them to friends.

Never returned my call

They were able to come out a few hours after I called. I had a small leak from the ceiling of a downstairs. They immediately identified the source of the problem and re-seated the toilet. Start to finish was about an hour. They also took time to look at a leaking kitchen faucet. It needs to be replaced, and they recommended a couple of brands. These guys are great. I've used them twice. Both times they've been efficient and professional, offering a no-nonsense solution with no attempt to "talk it up" to a bigger job.

I had the new faucets waiting for Steve when he showed up. I turned off the water he got right to work and the work was done in less than an hour. I am very happy. Thank you In-Law plumbing I will use you again.

Scott, called in advance and was able to come earlier which was appreciated.He quickly identified the source of the leak as the faucet hose and fixed it quickly. We thought it might be the garbage disposal.
Scott, discounted the agreed $ 80 charge to $ 50 because it was simple, fast fix. He could have said it was the Garbage Disposal and replaced it. But he was very honest.

Scott arrived on time. Super nice! Explained everything he was doing. Checked to make sure all was in working order & dry when he was finished. Excellent service & very professional. Would use them again in heartbeat! Locally owned, small family business. I like that! AND he is a Husker fan!!! Woot Woot!!

They showed up an hour earlier than expected (said someone forgot to call and ask if it could be moved up), so I dashed home from work. However, Phil was very professional and completed the job quickly. Even explained what was wrong and how he fixed it. Was finished in less than 30 minutes.

We had a wall leak and after much though by repairman and discussing with myself we decided it may be coming from fixtures that were not caulked in upstairs bathrooms.  It's not a constant leak so this would ring true most likely.  Since he was EARLY, I asked if he could look at my husbands handy work on a disposal ( all good, just a weird leak from pressure most likely), and a bathroom toilet that run periodically.  He put in a new flapper for the toilet.  He spent probably 45 mins and for the knowledge and repair I happily paid the $90.  Every single person I spoke with during the process was nice on the phone.  I can tell you I haven't had that in quite some time with a company and they will be who I call from now on for plumbing needs.

He measured to make sure the toilet was what was leaking into the floor and visible on the basement ceiling.  Then removed the toilet and replaced the seal.  Then replaced the toilet.  It took probably 45 minutes.
No complaints.

The service guy came out and troubleshooted the faucet. He didn't have a new cartridge with him but everything was working fine after he put it back together. A few days later the faucet lost pressure again and they came out and replaced the cartridge and only charge me for the part. Great company and very courteous and prompt. Would definitely use them again.
