He was helpful.

The sales rep was thorough and answered our questions clearly and promptly. The installation went very smoothly, except for gashing a wall while moving the new furnace in. They repaired the wall and repainted the area. A few days later when the house wasn't heating up as quickly as it should, they sent someone out right away to find and fix the problem, which was actually a ductwork issue unrelated to the installation. Very pleased from start to finish.

Tech was very nice and helpful. He gave some tips as far as getting the best use of our A/C and keeping our house cool without suggesting we replace with a new A/C. We had to pay after hours pricing because it was a weekend but since we work past 5 during the week we wouldn't be able to avoid the extra charge. Would definitely hire again. Our tech was fantastic.

When the technician arrived, he was very disheveled. His shirt was not tucked in, it was full of holes and he did not introduce himself. I took him down to the basement so he could look at the furnace as we have a heat pump. We just moved into this house 2 weeks ago so I had questions. When I asked him if there was a different filter as the one we have is somewhat tricky to install, he answered me but the said in a joking way that I gave him a look like I didn't know what the f**k he was talking about. I was surprised by his lack of professionalism. He finished whst he needed to do then went outside to the a/c unit. Once done, he just came back in through the front door without knocking. Any other technician we've had in our home always knocked first. He explained everything he did and then I paid the invoice. He was knowledgeable but his appearance was sloppy and he was unprofessional. He did not represent Fred's well and if this had been my first interaction with Fred's, it would have probably been my last. We do not want this technician back in our home but we will hire Fred's again.

The replacement went well. After the install there is now a clunking sound when it turns on, I can’t figure out how to set the new thermostat, and I don’t know how the humidifier works. Unfortunately, after paying $12,5000 they can’t accommodate the fact that I can’t take anymore time off from work and come out after 5:30 on a weeknight or on a Saturday morning. I guess that much money doesn’t mean anything to them. I guess when I take another day off it’s going to be for them to take out their new unit and I’ll have another company install one that I can get service on. Not happy at all!

Initial installation was flawed, they had to come back out twice to get it fixed right. The last guy; believe his name was "Matt," was very good.

I interviewed SEVERAL companies. As soon as Michelle came in - I knew Freds was my choice. The workers were courteous - on time & extremely knowledgable .

It was just great service and high-quality work. The system has just been great.

I've used them multiple times. It's been about a year or more since I've used them.They are always professional, on time and honest. I trust that they know what they're doing.

A GREAT EXPERIENCE FROM BEGINNING TO END. THEIR REP (DAVE) DID A GREAT JOB AND DIDN'T TRY TO SELL ME SOMETHING MORE THAN I NEEDED. THEY CAME OUT THE NEXT DAY AND THE TWO TECHS DID A GREAT JOB OF INSTALLING THE TWO UNITS AND A NEW THERMOSTAT. A MONTH LATER ANOTHER TECH CAME OUT TO CHECK EVERYTHING AND MAKE A MINOR ADJUSTMENT. ALL IN ALL, I COULDN'T BE MORE PLEASED. THEY ALSO HONORED A $500 ANGIE'S LIST COUPON.

Prompt visit by the sales representative, detailed information on the products and services were provided along with an estimate that provided for the right sizing of equipment needed for my house. Installation was completed in a timely, professional manner, the installers answered all questions and went over operation of the system. A follow up was done by a technician several weeks later to assure all systems were properly adjusted for a safe and efficient operation.

Helpful with initial AC repairs and told us the repairs may be short term. Ended up having to call their Emergency line 2 weeks after repair on a Friday night at 6pm due to AC failure. I left a message and waited for a callback for 30 minutes. Called again and left a 2nd message as the heat climbed. After no callback in 1 hour, I called another company's emergency line and received a rapid response. Ended up going with the other company for replacement 3 days later. Fred's "emergency" line called the next day, did not leave a message, and we had no further correspondence.

Their price is comparable. They are just a quality company.

I called after our power was restored and a technician was able to make it to our house that same afternoon. I was not charged a "trip fee" like I have been with other Hvac companies, and the repair was made quickly and the AC is working great again. Technician was very polite and professional. Great experience.

The rep was able to fix the issue and because it was a second opinion they didn't charge us at all.  Fred's is going to be our go-to business and we will always use them for regular service and issues that may arise.  Thank you for your wonderful customer service from start to finish, I can't say enough good things abou them!!
