All the time A's. That is why I keep going back to them. They're honest. They are kind. Just because I'm a girl. They don't treat me like an idiot. I normally wait two days. Its a big thing. Little things the same day. If its electrical, or something else its two day. Its not like a week at the shop.

The price is reasonable. They are honest. They tell you what's wrong. They tell you what you don't need it. They tell you it can wait. They do it, and they take it in a day.You are going to love this story. I had one thing wrong with my vehicle. I had something wrong with my vehicle, and nobody could figure out what was wrong with it. $3000 here, the guy he couldn't figure it out. He didn't stop. It was days he didn't stop. It was four below. He called all the auto mechanics at Ford. He said, the reason it wouldn't work is because it happens in a few vehicles and happens at four below. He fixed it, and it was some exhaust and manifold. It wouldn't start the truck up. He didn't just give it back, and said its fixed. The first time he said, I don't know what is wrong with it. He said, if you want to leave it here a few more day, I will figure it out, or not. He figured it out, but he didn't put in a bunch of parts in, and say go try it. I got a whole electrical system that was blinking. It turned out a $2.00 turn signal light. He unplugged it. He checks the light bulbs first, not put in an electrical system. $3000 system, and says its your blinker light, a $2.00 part.

I'm usually there freezing my but off, in a blizzard and ice. Everything usually runs about $200. All the tire changes, and the filters. If it doesn't need doing, they will tell you it doesn't need doing. They won't charge you. Triple A. Its good for me.An honest mechanic is priceless. There is nothing at all bad about this one company. Yay! The angels open, the whole bit. They're honest. There are probably two workers there. If I have a question, I talk to the mechanic. Its not like get out of my garage. It depends on how big the job is. If you make an appointment for maintenance, its one day. If you make an appointment because your engine is out, its like three days. I think they are not open on Sunday's, and a half day on Saturday's. You have to make an appointment. That is the sucky part.

I've used this company a number of times. They are the best of humankind. In all aspects of their business. I have waited to write this review to see if it could really be true, that there are kind and honest mechanics left in the world. Well there are and it's them. In the number of times I used them they not once have could I find any fault. This is the first review I have ever written. I just don't,but wanted people to find someone good at their job without exception!!!

I highly recommend them. They guarantee their work. If it doesn't work out, they honor their warranty. They keep working on something until they get it fixed. They have a cash reward system when you use their service. The cash rewards give you discounts on oil changes. I would use them again.

The service is fine.  I have been using them for years.  The staff is good. 

We use Amtech for all of our car repair and maintenance. Most recently we had an oil change/tire rotation done, which is probably not that useful as a review.
What might be helpful is, for instance, I have called because my check-engine light came on and they took the time on the phone to verify whether it was likely a critical engine issue, or a sensor issue. Since it seemed more likely a sensor issue they actually recommended not bringing the car in right away. I was impressed that they took the time on the phone to think about the problem, and are willing to recommend not doing service immediately if it is not really necessary.

Amtech was up front with the diagnosis and even went as far as to give me helpful tips when I told them that I would rather attempt the repairs myself. They were very nice and I will certainly be going back the next time I have car troubles.

I found them on Angie's List. This is the third time I have used them. They were honest. They told me what was wrong and then they fixed it. This company charged me the right amount.

The whole experience was very positive.  Staff are friendly, knowledgeable, willing to take the time to explain the repairs needed and  how the repairs were ultimately completed.  The staff at AmTech cultivated my trust and loyalty. I was impressed with the experience.  After the repairs outlined above  were not totally completed, they corrected the problem without charge due to  the fact that they provided a limited warranty for the initial brake work.

I was very pleased, satisfied and will return for my vehicle's  future service needs

They're great!  We've been very pleased with their service.  We thought like they were honest.  We have had a quote from another auto place that had quoted me of new tires, new batteries and all that stuff.  We just decided to go check on someone else.  This company told me that I still have a year for my tires, and my battery was fine.  I just felt like they were honest guys who were telling what was needed, rather than trying to sell me things that I do not need.  I paid for what I got.  If you can trust people, that's worth paying a little extra.  They were great!  They were able to drop our the night before, and we got no problems with them.

the work was completed on time and I was kept informed at all times of the cost and time the work would be completed.

We have been going to the same auto mechanic for the past 13 to 14 years. They do an excellent job. They are really good and we had four cars in there. The thing is, once they fix it, it stays fixed. The only thing that didn't work out was with the car's electrical problem. But, each time we took it there, they didn't charge us for anything new that they had to go back and replace within the warranty period. They have always been really careful to give us the best prices with any parts they use and they do a good job with the labor. We recommended them to several of our friends and people who have asked us. They have a reputation with the community. They have been very good. Anything that has been done to the car, they've done and it's been that way for the past 13 years. Their price was not like super cheap but it's not like super expensive but you get a good value for what you do pay because like I said, it stays fixed.

From the moment I called asking for a price, the folks at Amtech treated me right.  They were knowledgeable and friendly, and gave me an accurate estimate and even priced out the various things that could have been needed based on my symptoms.  They also schedule appointments, which is nice.   
When I arrived for my service, they were again very friendly, offering me a complementary ride to work or home if I needed one.  They quoted me two time-frames throughout the day (after I opted to go ahead and replace the tires they found to be worn), and finished early both times.  When I paid, they told me about a rewards card...usually I don't sign up for them, but this one was something different.  They apply 10% (I think) of labor to a gift card you can use on your visit, no sign-up or anything extra required.  The only downside was the price...they were on the higher end of the quotes, but with an A rating here on Angie's List, I decided to pay a bit extra--it was definitely worth it.   
Suffice it to say Amtech has my business for as long as I'm in the area. 

I scheduled an appointment, dropped of the car the evening prior. Mike called the day of the appointment to inform me about the problem cost and time that it would take to get struts and ball joint. All the repairs were performed on schedule, at the stated price, and at all times they kept me informed on the status of the repair. Everyone was professional and very friendly.

The work turned out great. They were good about telling us when to bring the car in, calling us before they did any repairs and gave us an estimate, and then they called us as soon as they were done so we had enough time to get down there and pick up the vehicle before they closed. The man we dealt with in the lobby was very nice and knowledgeable and was able to answer my questions without having to go ask someone else. It was my first encounter with Amtech and overall I am very, very pleased. One thing I was surprised about and didn’t even know about was that at the end of the repair on the first car, they gave me a rewards card to help me save money in the future and I was able to use that on our second car.

We have used this company for years and years from when they just started. It’s been a great experience. We have four or five cars between two families we always take over there. We recommend this company.
