When I did use ADT I thought they were really good. I did not have a single complaint with them at all. The only reason I did switch companies was because they did not offer some of the stuff that I had wanted. When using them, I did feel safe and I probably would hire them again for one of my other homes. They are not a bad company at all.

ADT does a really nice job of keeping on top of the alarm system. They have never had to come out to our home to do any work on the system, and it is easy to use. ADT is linked to all of our local emergency departments, such as the fire and police.

To be perfectly frank, I have not been pleased with ADT, and the only reason we are continuing to use their service is because they do offer a military discount to our family. Aside from that, they are not very responsive at all. Our alarm just recently was going off, and it was fifteen minutes before ADT even bothered to call our house to find out what was going on. If there had been an actual emergency, we all could have expired by that point in time. I don't find them to be overly responsive to their customers and if it was not for that discount because my husband is in the military, I would take my business elsewhere.

I have never had any problems or malfunctions with using their services. Having ADT really allows us to sleep well at night.

When I checked with the fire department records, ADT had never called the fire in. We felt this service was a waste because what is the point in paying for a monitoring service if it doesn't monitor.
