Unfortunately I am very unhappy with the service after the awesome professional installation. At night on various channels and various times, I stumbled on full p***, naked s**. There was no warning and no choice to block. I finally figured out how to block those channels, but was angry the p*** was there to start with! I called Dish today and talked to a customer service rep who stated she would refer this as a priority to the "engineering department" as she had no way to prevent it other than to explain how to block it. I asked for a channel listing of p*** sites. She said there was no such listing. She advised the engineering can review the software and note my concern. Now I have to block 4 tvs, which is very time consuming and shouldn't have to happen. One night I sat up reviewing programming for several hours to choose channels to block. I came up with 13! that were so offensive. Cable TV never exposed us to such offensive programming. How I wish we could purchase the channels we want! When will they listen? We also have had numerous outages of service....now I'm told to call the next time and let customer service know and not to follow the print and tv screen advice to problem solve via their instructions. All too complicated. I would switch to Cable if we hadn't contracted for 2 years with Dish...

A couple years ago, I signed up with Windstream (bundled with Dish) the internet speed was less than I wanted, but I'm 3 miles out of town.. "Beatrice" and they told me it was as fast as it could get... The last few weeks/months, its been getting worse and worse.. I'm going to give em another week or so, until I switch.. .. lousy is the best I could rate thier service.. A phone call to Florida to speak to a foreigner who didn't know crap...

For me they are always on because we were with cable and it was miserable. They had no selection either but they have a selection and I've really not had any issues with black outs or anything like that. I have a bundle and it's bundled together with DSL and telephone. They've been real good and I've not really had any issues at all. I did want to change to a different tear on time and it was really convenient because I just did it online and it was done right away. I think they all charge too much. The only time I had to deal with them was when I changed that tear and I'd say they were punctual. They did it right there online.
