Excellent experience. The two young men were professional and very friendly. They were so careful with my things which included a grandfather clock and full glass curio cabinet. They worked quickly and even reassembled a table for me. They also offered to move things around before they left.

Provided an estimate prior to our move. They have a great process for estimating and were within a couple hundred dollars on the final invoice. The guys were extremely professional, courteous, and energetic. They worked hard and were very customer-service minded. We would definitely use them again. We started out with a team of 3, but they called in another crew of two to get the things from our storage facility. The invoice was broken down in detail and we were only charged for the second crew for the exact time they were used.

It was the best moving experience I have ever had. They were quick, courteous, and did a wonderful job. I would certainly use them in the future and have recommended them to friends, family and co-workers for their moving needs. Should we ever have to move again, we will be calling them.

**Note: Company has changed name to Black Belt Movers.** Very easy company to work with. Chose them from friend's recommendation and because of their location close to my home. Company scheduled my move soon after my first inquiry. Arrived on time and worked very quickly to load items safely. Quoted me rate based on number of crew members, trucks and estimated time for move, and the quote was accurate. Professional crew members were focused and wasted no time slacking off. Plan to use this company again.

Black Belt Movers were GREAT!  We have used 'nationally recognized' companies in the past for in-town moves which took 2 days - pickup on day 1 and deliver on day 2.  Black Belt picked up and delivered all in one day for our in-town move. 

For our move from Omaha to Overland Park, they did the same - picked up and delivered THE SAME DAY.  The last time we made a long distance move,  the 'nationally recognized' company basically said that our belongings would be delivered within a week or so, no promised date, because our belongings were placed on a very large truck with other customers.  By using two 26' trucks, only our belongings were being delivered, so we got everything the same day.  We had movers from both Omaha and Kansas City involved.  They began pulling out of our storage units in Omaha around 7:30 - 8:00, then went to our apartment to pick up the rest.  By 9:45, we received a call saying they were on their way to Overland Park.  They arrived and went right to work... placing everything where we wanted. All of our wooden furniture was carefully wrapped in blankets. The ninjas offered to stay and help assemble tables etc.  They wore us out just watching them.  :-)

Now let's talk price. For in-town moving the 'nationally recognized' place wanted about $3,000.  Black Belt did it for around $1,000.  For our across state line move, Black Belt did it for about $3,000.  We didn't even bother to contact the other guys.  Black Belt insurance was available at the same cost as the other guys too.  We found no difference in their offerings vs. others... EXCEPT the faster, friendlier and less hassle service offered by Black Belt.

We would DEFINITELY, use Black Belt Movers again and recommend them highly!  We are SO glad that they're expanding their range of service.  The big guys better watch out!

Be careful

The packers were very professional and quickly packed up our stuff. Nothing arrived at the new place broken which had been packed. We didn't have time or health to pack and this service was well worth the cost. We ended up with over 60 boxes of stuff! We certainly didn't know how much we had. This did lead to a difference in the estimated quote we received and the final cost but that difference was our fault, for not giving them enough information as to what we had. Because of their flat-rate pricing per hour per person, I was able to estimate the costs myself before the moving day based on what I thought it would take and the final cost was very close to what I expected.
The movers arrived right on time, worked quickly and efficiently. They kept us up to date as to their progress, any issues that might have arrived etc. They were somewhat surprised by the amount of stuff that needed to be moved and were worried that they would have to take two trips. They informed us of this early and of the additional costs. However, they worked extremely hard to get it all into their truck and was able to get everything moved in one trip, saving us those additional costs!
We had one piece of furniture that mysteriously got broke during the trip over - I certainly don't know how it got broke, it was not obvious how it could have happened. They quickly identified the damage to us. When they finished unloading the truck,  they created a report of the damage which has been handled according to our moving contract. This was handled very professionally and with a satisfactory ending, especially compared to a large national moving company that moved us to Omaha and never covered any breakage of which we had several incidents.
It should be noted that they are changing their name to Black Belt Movers to match their "Ninja Skills" theme. I certainly think they used über ninja skills getting us moved.

First, movers got lost coming to our house, and we were charged for this time. Was only able to load 3/4 of household goods even though we were told at the time of estimate the truck that they used would be big enough for everything. Husband had issue with one worker being rude. Price ended up being $200 over top of the estimated price, even though we were advised if we used 3 workers, it would be at the lower end of the estimate. Overall cost was $400 over low end of estimate. Had to call three times to resolve them coming back to get the rest of our possessions and were questioned if that was supposed to be included to begin with-even though company had pictures of everything that was to be loaded that were taken at the time of estimate, so unsure why it was an issue to move all of our things for the agreed upon price. Husband and I helped load and unload second truck. Very disappointed.

This was a pretty straight forward move.  We needed someone to move furniture only from an apartment downtown into a newly purchased home.  I was given an approximate cost over the phone, they bill strictly by time.  The final bill was less than I was expecting.  The two young men arrived a little early, after calling to make sure that was okay.  They worked very hard loading and unloading the truck and kept to the task the entire time. 
We didn't have them do any packing for us, but everything was exactly as promised when I first called for an estimate.  I would use them again and will recommend them to anyone moving locally. From the young woman answering the phone to the movers, everyone was very professional.

It went wonderfully.  Brady and Tim were very polite and hard working.  They were on time and very careful and efficient.   I would definitely use them again.
