 + 1 moreIt's absolutely beautiful and I can't say enough great things about Chris. He was polite and professional. He was recommended to me by the carpet salvage place on Liberty Street in Winston-Salem. They recommended a few and I received quotes from 2 people. Chris' was very reasonable. I wanted to purchase the tile, backer-board, grout, quarter-round, etc. myself so the price above was for labor only. Chris did buy a couple of things and I reimbursed him. He saved his receipts and everything so there was complete transparency. My dad and I did do a couple of things like take out the dishwasher, move the washer & dryer and take up the old quarter-round and paint the new. When Chris showed up he was surprised and hadn't expected it. Chris did move and put back the refrigerator, stove, toilet, and laundry sink. I have no qualms about recommending Chris. When I am ready for the carpet and/or hardwoods upstairs I know who to call. I have already passed his name along. I was so pleased with the work, I actually encouraged him to register for Angie's List so I could write a review. PS -- I am a skeptic by nature (and picky), so big projects like these stress me out and make me nervous. Chris was great! I'm really glad I already know who to call next time a big project comes up.
Description of Work: Installed approx 350 sq ft. of Hardie board and 18" x 18" porcelain tile in kitchen area, laundry room, 1/2 half bath. Also cut and installed quarter-round.
