CAROLINA ALARM INC

I reached out to them on Saturday, got a call back an hour later. He tried to lead me through fixing it myself but ended up needing to come out. The company tried to charge a $60 service call fee, which was not said to me over the phone. The issue was just a battery pack. He told me I needed to test it regularly and change the battery pack. We agreed I would pay him $40 and then $20 later. The $60 charge them became over $80 for the battery pack. We talked about this charge but nothing happened. They then said I was past due. They sent me an invoice over the whole year. I matched everything up but they still have the the charge from the battery pack replacement. I gave them permission to go ahead and bill for two cycles but this issue with the battery pack service call has not been resolved. The service is good but the billing and invoice is not.

Arrived and ran check of systems, dealt with internet company several times, adjusted our personal monitors and viewers. At an earlier date installed security system, another date installed our cameras after original problems with NorthState were addressed and supposedly fixed. Carolina Alarm people were all gracious, friendly and professional. Curtis, the installer, was extremely helpful and informative.

Excellent service, very prompt, and not pushy. I felt like they were looking out for my best interest, not giving me a sales pitch. They do not entice you with the $99 intro offers and then up charge you for the extras. The best part, there is no contract and is only $18.75 a month. The same service at ADT is $43 a month with a 3 YEAR contract. I invested quite a bit of time in researching a variety of Security systems. Carolina Alarm was the best I found hands down.

On 5-28-2013 the installers arrived and were also friendly, professional, and did an excellent job installing the alarm. They did an excellent job explaining the operation of the system.

Very good service, very reasonable pricing. I never should have left Carolina Alarm monitoring. I got frustrated because one phone call was not returned so I canceled with Carolina Alarm and switched to ADT (dealer out of Clemmons.) Absolute WORST move I've ever made. ADT dealer provided and continues to provide horrendous service at exorbitant rates. Stuck in a 3 year contract for more than double what I paid for Carolina Alarm. Highly recommend Carolina Alarm and will switch back once my contract with ADT is complete.

When they came out to the house, they were very professional and made sure to answer all of our questions. We think they provide a wonderful service and we are very pleased to do business with them. Their prices are reasonable and the service and response from them is great.

Great service and responsiveness, showed up when they promised, and were neat, courteous and orderly. There was a problem with programming one of the keypads, but it was resolved within 1 day. System has worked as expected since.

THEY WERE POLITE, COURTEOUS AND HIGHLY PROFESSIONAL. THEY EXPLAINED THE SYSTEM TO US, BUT I HAD TO CALL THEM FOR BETTER UNDERSTANDING AND THEY EXPLAINED IT ALL AGAIN. THEY WERE HERE IN A MATTER OF TWO MINUTES FOR AN ACCIDENTALLY ALARM SET OFF.
