Coastal Mobile Veterinary Practice

I have an 18 pound cat that does not like to get into a carrier. It has been impossible for me to get him to the vet. Dr. Hanson came to my house with the necessary vaccinations and gave my cat an exam, vaccinations, and all that I would get at a regular vet for a very comparable price. I thought it would be much more expensive to have a housecall but figured it was worth it versus winding up at Medac with an infection due to a cat bite. She's kind with animals, does a great job, and understands how difficult it can be to get a cat to travel.
I also called her to put my previous cat to sleep. She was wonderful during the whole process. She was sympathetic, kind, and professional, and made a very difficult situation easier for me.
I highly recommend her.

They are just wonderful. They came to the house and stayed with the cat, and helped me with her during the process. They once came to my house to help me catch one of my cats that needed to have its rabies shot. They had to chase the cat around my house with a butterfly net. I think they are just great. I think that their pricing is great, considering that they mostly do house calls. I thought they would be higher than most, but I actually think they are cheaper. Their responsiveness is great. They always call and let you know if they are going to be late, or are running behind.

The experience with Toby was so perfect and easy, that when it came time for our two cats to receive their rabies vaccinations we called Alison. One of the cats is and quot;crazyand quot; and in the past it took forever to find and catch and crate this animal for the trip to our vet. It was almost impossible to do all this and get to an appointment. Alison again came to the rescue!

Naturally these services are more expensive than a regular visit to a vet but the convenience of having a vet come to our house more than offset the cost difference. We will definitely call Alison again in the future for such delicate situations.
