Sawyers EZ Move

My experience overall was very dissatisfying. The staff was subcontracted and I do not believe they had ever actually moved anyone before. They did not disassemble any furniture before moving it. They damaged my bed because of this. The post collapsed in and put a huge gauge in the foot board and posts. There were also several other pieces of furniture this happened with. As they packed the truck and in some point in the move there was an avalanche. I now do not have a piece of furniture that does not have a dent, gauge or scuff on it. I have a brand new French door refrigerator and I caught them trying to force it out of the door. They damaged the door and destroyed the outside of the refrigerator. The doors are dented, scratched and the paint scratched off. I was the one who had to instruct them on how to actually get the refrigerator out the door. The internet site of theirs was very convincing that I would be 100% satisfied and would not have to pay until after the move. The driver then asks for payment immediately after arriving to my home to start moving, which is not what was guaranteed. I then asked to speak with the boss to ask why they were requesting this. He said he could not get through to me by phone which is not true because my phone had been working just fine. The driver assured me I would hear from them within 48 hours about the damages. A week went by and I never heard anything from the company. I them had to contact the owner, Chris Sawyer, again about the damages and he just kept going around and around with me about the damage that was actually done. He then tells me the only way to file a claim is to take pictures of the damage and email them to him with my camera phone. I do not own a camera phone. I had to ask him many times if I could video the damages and mail the disc to him. I made sure there was a return receipt so I knew someone would receive this. He then tells me he never received the disc. He then tells me the only way to file a claim now is to just email him the damages. I do not plan on ever using this company again.
