What should have been a four day job turned into a four month nightmare. The first sign of something gone awry was his failure to deliver a promised dumpster to collect the debris from the old roof. Instead, he and his crew tore off the large 50 year old roof and discarded it around the entire periphery of the front and back yard, 1000's of rusty roofing nails and all. It took four months for him to clean up the mess and finish the details of the roof (which we had to hound him about relentlessly). We finally paid him just so we would never have to speak with him again and then had to hire someone else to fix the leaking gutters, the nonfunctioning dryer vent (no hole was cut in the decking installed by Biddle although the vent was put back on the roof shingles) and other annoying details. We later found out that he didn't have a worker's comp policy - after multiple reassurances from him that he did - even supplying me with a fake insurance number. Unequivocally, this was the absolute worst experience I have ever had with any service provider. The crowning touch was him trying to collect more money than what the contract specified (after we had paid in full) and then having him send his dad out to "investigate" what the problem was. The roof looks great but only because we insisted on having it finished properly and it has yet to be tested by the passage of time and wear. Never, ever again.
