She ran a whole series of testing for my house, she did two biopsies. She had to test for lung disease and take lung fluid. It was a lot. When you're dealing with horses and barnacles and trying to diagnose - in this case several conditions that had not been diagnosed, ultimately led to my horse's death - it gets to be very expensive. I probably spent 3 or $4000 in a matter of months, but that's not unusual. Her routine maintenance to come out to the barn, do a horse checkup, do the shots is completely in line with what everyone else charges. I'm so very impressed with her and I was so very grateful for her kindness.

She is board certified in three areas, which is highly unusual. She is so knowledgeable. I'm a fussy person here, I do my own research. I know when a vet knows what they're talking about. I work with a vet out of state that is a professor at an Equine facility. So I know when somebody knows what they're talking about. She is exceedingly well educated, very knowledgeable, very good with the horse and extremely good with the owner. She is very kind. I cannot recommend her highly enough. I would use her again in a heartbeat. She kept my horse alive for three years when I didn't think that that was going to happen. She really knows her stuff. She is very well educated, she is very current in her knowledge. She is extremely good with horses and that can be hard to find because vets can be injured and then they get skittish around horses. She is very calm and she calms the horse because of her presence. Her vet tech is very good. Because she is so well educated and so current, you get the best, most current information on drugs, on procedures and on disease. You have the best chance of getting correct diagnosis. I've been using her for about three years now.
