"It was a pleasure working for this member. He has a great attitude dispite the serious damage to his bathroom and having to repair it multiple times before he called us. We walked him thru the repairs and updated him daily as we completed this complicated repair and restoration of his bathroom floor, walls and structure. Surely, he is satisfied based on his comments and we wish him the best in the future. I am the owner and do all estimates for the company. If you submit a request thru Angie's List without a phone number my standard reply is to ask you to call me and provide my number which is also listed. Repair personnel were prompt. They entered the attic area to identify the location of the leak. They then went outside to identify the source of the leak. They found the build had put a nail in one of the shingles and then removed the nail. The remaining hole in the shingle was causing the leak. The removed the bad shingle and a few around it and replaced it with new ones. It looks great and has not leaked since the repair.

This was the 2nd time I have had Call Mr. Fixit do work for me. This
was a much bigger job than the first time. My flat room had been
leaking in a corner where a new metal roof adjoins for a long time.
Multiple attempts to patch had failed and the water leaking through had
damaged my drywall inside. Dennis came out and gave me an estimate
first. He showed up promptly for the estimate and then a week later on
the work day. It was raining that day so I didn't know if he would be
able to get the work done. He was not deterred! The guys went and got
the materials. They came back about an hour later and started work. These guys work hard!
They tore out all the old roof material. They explained to me as they
went along exactly what their plan was to stop the multiple leaks that I
had. The work they did was not a patch job. It was basically a new
roof in the area where I was having the problems. They did redundant
layering and made sure that the chance for a future leak was minimal.
It has since rained twice with no issues! The drywall repair work on my
ceiling was so good that it is almost invisible with the existing
drywall. The guys put tarps down and cleaned up all their mess. They
needed to borrow a little gas to clean their hands after handling the
tar. They even went and filled up my gas can after the fact! Things
are in fact better and cleaner than they were before they got here.
Price was exactly as quoted. Dennis even made friends with my dog.

anyone else for repairs!

He did well. He was straight up and honest and he said he could do it but it probably would not look good with our house and it would cost a lot of money. He told us our house didn’t really need it and so rather than giving me a bogus estimate and take my money, he was pretty honest and he said he loved the work but we probably didn’t need it and I respect that. He was responsive and he came out the next day and he showed up on time.

We needed someone to clean up our electrical lines after a substandard contractor messed them up during a renovation. Mr. Fixit arrived when they said they would, corrected the problems and added extra outlets we requested. I would not hesititate to call them again.

Prompt with initial appointment and quote. Flooring and porch companies subcontracted were personable & professional. Trustworthy staff were left at house while I was working. Dennis was there or frequently checking in to make sure work was completed. Price was good.

Called for an estimate and the guys came the next day. I already had two estimates that involved pulling the entire ceiling down. Dennis was very confident he could patch the holes for a fraction of the cost (and a fraction of the mess!). He gave us an estimate and then reworked his schedule to start work the same day! They even worked on the fourth of July. Crew worked quickly and efficiently and were very polite and personable. Job was completed in less than three days and looks great. I never thought it would look that good. I was able to proceed with the kitchen remodel on schedule and the kitchen looks beautiful.

Dennis, the Mr Fixit owner, and his employees were highly professional and courteous. They came in with a pleasant attitude and listened to my entire complaint. They tested my circuit, checked my appliances, and determined that I had too many devices and appliances on one particular circuit. One of the appliances was an old microwave, which pulled too much electricity. They gave me some advice about the microwave and replaced the defective plug. Soon, I will replace the old microwave for a more energy efficient one. Also, I will be careful about overloading my circuits, especially, the replaced one.
I was grateful for Mr Fixit and his employees for their concern and advice. This was the second time this problem had been addressed. A year or two ago, an electrician fixed the problem, but gave me no advice. So, for over a year, I was using and overusing my electric circuits blindly. Kudos to Mr Fixit and his employees for their enthusiasm and aim to please! And I am glad that I joined Angie's List recently!

Dennis, Mr Fixit, Mike and Scott were very professional. They started the job immediately after the estimate on building the footings and repairing the structural damage in the main house. They cleaned up every day and were always mindful of maintaining a safe work area. We kept asking them to do other tasks in this renovation and each task was completed with satisfaction. My only regret was that I didn't start this project with them. They could have done all the work that I hired others to do - and do so in a timely manner. These three guys do it all - electrical and plumbing plus all the general construction work.I highly recommend Mr. Fixit for any of your building projects.

I called and asked for an estimate on replacing the siding and doing some carpentry repair. He arrived as scheduled and looked the plae over. Very rough measurements and maybe 20 min. total time. At the end he gave me a price of $8,000 dollars. When I mentioned that I had two bids much lower, his response was the best advice I have received from any contractor. "Take the lowest one" he said, and got into his truck and drove away.

"This member was obviously shopping for price and not craftsmanship or quality. Many customers receiving multiple estimates fail to fully articulate the same job to multiple contractors therefore, receiving substantially different estimates. Keep in mind that an estimate is an approximate cost and a quote includes price for material and labor. Quotes take considerable more time. Twenty (20) minutes is sufficient for an estimate. Your attempt to besmirch our company or reputation with low ratings clearly gets refuted by our work, jobs and ratings we've received, read a little and save your negativeness to rate the job after it's completed by the lowest bid, more often than not you will get exactly what you pay for. Good luck...."

This is the 2d time we have used Call Mr Fixit. Dennis and his crew turned our covered porch into an awesome heated/air conditioned sunroom last April. We were extremely pleased with his work, so when we decided to have hardwoods installed in the bedrooms and a door put on our bonus room, Dennis was the only person we called for an estimate. Dennis and his team are very prompt, not your typical Fayetteville,NC you call-no service company. They showed each day of the work when expected and on time. The floors and door install went without a hitch, they even finished earlier than expected. The floors and new doorway look excellent!! The crew cleaned up after themselves and were very courteous. Once again, Call Mr Fixit performed to and above our expectations. Highly Recommended

I have lived in Fayetteville for 27 years, and this is my first experience receiving absolute, 100%, first class work. From the onset, Mr. Fix-It was responsive to a request for quote; once accepted, he and his crew were punctual every day and provided excellent work. He, personally, provided on-the-site supervision, followed-up on any issues and assured quality work throughout the project. His crew was seasoned and expert in the repairs they performed. Professionalism and courteousness were present throughout the project. I will not hesitate to request his services again.

Did a great job. Responded to email inquiry within a day and came to our home for an estimate the same day. Work was begun within a week. Very polite and professional while still being friendly. Cleaned up after the work very thoroughly. Made some very appreciated recommendations for future work but no hard sell. We will definitely use Call Mr. Fixit in the future.

We calledDennis from Mr. Fix it and he was able to come out early the following morning. They were very professional and knowledgeable. Dennis explained to us what our problem was and he was able to give me a wriiten estimate to provide to my home owners insurance. The day the job was scheduled for Dennis and his guys showed up on time and had the job completed quickly. While I had dennis there I asked Dennis for another estimate for replacing a few missing shiggles from my roof and he said he had a few shiggles in his truck and that he would relace the missing shinggles for free. Immediately one of Dennis's guys was up on my roof hammering away. My roof is due to be replaced and I will definately be contacting Dennis at Mr. Fix it again.

Dennis was fabulous. As a matter of fact, I have done him a great disservice by waiting so long to post this review.
I found Dennis here on Angie's List. When I first called him I left a message. He contacted me the same day only a short time later. We quickly scheduled a good time for him to come by and do an estimate.
Upon meeting Dennis I immediately felt confident that I had called the right man. He was very knowledgeable, very polite and down to earth. His no nonsense approach also solidified my decision. He actually had me go under the house with him to show me the damage to my foundation. This also impressed me.
The initial estimate was $3200. We set a date for work to start as well as when we would put down half of the cost. Dennis was very flexible with the later.
After payment was made, work began the next day. Dennis and his crew ran into a couple of snags but were completely done with the work in a couple of days.
The house looks and feels GREAT! My wife and I love everything. We still can't believe how well the paint matches on the siding! Dennis said he "eye-balled it".
The entire experience was wonderful. My 18 month old son even loved Dennis. I would, and have, recommended Dennis to anyone I hear talking about home repairs.

"It was a pleasure working for this member. "Down to earth" i can say the same about this client and his family. He left us with access to his home and went to work. I called him several times to give him updates even when we found additional damage, he was very receptive to the additional work to be completed. As policy when we find additional damage that was not initially included in our estimate, I notify the home owner and give them options. We always complete additional repairs at a discounted rate because we are already on site. It was a pleasure working at his home and we will probably see him again when its time to paint. He came out to do an estimate within 10 days of my call. He seemed competent in his ideas and suggestions. He did say It would be a drive from his company to my house.He said he would get back to me with the estimate. He did asked if I was in a hurry and I said no, assuming that it would be a couple of weeks before I heard from him. That was 6 weeks ago. No estimate. No calls. Apparently he has too much business??? I would have at least appreciated a call from him with the estimate even if he decided I was too far to travel to.

"I did visit this member and returned an estimate via the email address SHE provided. I have not heard from her since email or via phone conversation. As you read thru my reports there are constant references to our diligence in keeping customers informed. Nothing prevented this member from calling me after I visited her on a weekend (we are closed on SAT and SUN) . If and only if she did not receive the email that i sent to her she should have called me. I rate her as a "D" customer without performing any work for her....(."more weight is given to customers that we actually do work for") unlike those who throw stones via ratings on Angie's list without verification or follow-up."
