HUGHESNET NEW SERVICE SALES

HughesNet sent these people to my house to set up a satellite and the serviceman seemed nice enough. He was in and out as fast as he could be, and with good reason. After the install, he hurriedly said, "Just sign here and we're good to go." Foolishly, I signed the paper without paying very close attention. Upon further review, the man had gone down the checklist I was supposed to initial as the customer and had kindly initialed it for me. It appears that I had gone down and initialed by all these items that I "agreed" to. Two of the things I "agreed" to was a $125 charge for an 8' x 2 1/2" piece of conduit for the pole mount and for him to crawl under my house about 2 feet. The total installation took an hour and a half and cost $125! He also wanted cash or a check that is able to be immediately cashed (as opposed to an out of town check)(Feel free to draw your own conclusions). This guy's making over $60 an hour and doesn't have to pay taxes on it! Where does a regular honest man find a job like that? He doesn't. It take a crooked man to scam the honest man out of his hard earned (and taxed) money. Please beware. This installer is a very dishonest man and I can't help but be wary of any company that hires a person with such a lack of character. REVIEW EVERY SINGLE THING THEY TRY TO GET YOU TO SIGN! I know it's clich ', but it only takes once. I hate to be so negative and I've never left a harsh review for anyone before, but I felt this was necessary. It's sad that I've been driven to do this, but I just want people to see what can happen to them if they're not careful. Thanks for your time.
