Alex was great . This is not something you want to spend money on but I had a bat flying around my living room! His price was half the cost of another wildlife group in the area and he showed me everything he did. he came back and showed me everything they did and even pointed out I was missing a chimney cap and put one in for free.

Alex scheduled a visit very quickly and showed up on time. He is very knowledgeable about the nesting habits of bats. He also explained up-front that wildlife protection law sets dates when the bats can and cannot be removed, during their nesting season. It meant that I had to wait a couple of months, but at least I had a good explanation of why. He also installed screens over my gable vents to keep the bats from messing up the walkways with guano. Everything looks great and works perfectly.

Alex Freeman, owner, was immediately responsive.  Josh appeared the same day and spent close to two hours inspecting and taking all the action he could to prevent a re-appearance of our good but not favorite reptiles.  I don't enjoy them and they terrify my wife. Josh won our praises and on a very hot day he accepted the only reward of  two diet Pepsi's.  They promise 24/7 service and I believe them.

I was worried that the screening would stand out as this was done on the front of our house but it is barely noticeable.
He was very helpful and checked the whole roof and chimney to make sure there were no openings that other animals could get into.

I contacted Southern Wildlife and Land Management because we have activity in our attic at night and had attempted to trap whatever was up there with no success. We had learned that it was squirrels and a regular exterminator does not deal with squirrels, you have to have licensed wildlife person come out to remove. I called SWLM and he called me back promptly and made an appointment to come out to my house to check out the situation. He arrived promptly and did an inspection of the attic and the exterior of the house. I went into the attic with him and was shown where they were nesting, etc. I learned that it was flying squirrels because of there nocturnal activity. He then walked me around the exterior of the house and showed entry points of where they were getting in. He then placed traps at those entry points. If squirrels were caught they would be removed and relocated in the country. Traps were set for several days and no squirrels were caught. The entry points were blocked up, so they could not get in. We have not seen any signs of activity since.

This past summer we discovered we had a snake living under our front steps. We called Alex and Southern Wildlife and Land Management to consult with him on the phone. He reassurred us that the snake was most likely not harmful. He told us to call him again when we saw the snake. He said a lot of wildlife removal services would come to our house in such a situation, not be able to do anything, and then charge us.
A few weeks by, and we saw the snake again. By the time Alex came to our house the snake had disappeared. This time, he sealed the area under our steps and created a one-way gate for the snake, so that the snake could leave the space under our house and not return. Alex cares deeply about animals. He and we wanted to remove the snake humanely. I think Alex relocates most of the snakes he catches to his own property!
The one way gate worked. A few weeks later we saw a newly-shedded skin next to our house. The snake had left the front steps and went on our way. Alex came back to our house and sealed the rest of the area next to our steps.
He is an incredible professional and we are grateful to him for his help. He is great at his job. I would highly recommend him for any wildlife removal needs. Before our issue with the snake, I didn't even know this type of service existed!

They were effective. Southern Wildlife took 2 weeks to get 6 beavers out of the property. He was very, very good at what he does. He knows the types of animals that live in the wild where I live. He is like an expert woodsman.
