Raleigh Tree Service

I found CCF through a Angie's List special offer ($500 worth of work for $250). I expected to get $250 worth of service, but CCF went above and beyond the cost of the service. They scheduled the work well in advance, worked around my schedule and were very prompt. I can honestly say that they performed $500 worth of work and then some.. Chris and his associates kept me well informed on all aspects of the job, the estimate was clear and concise and I would highly recommend CCF to anyone in need of tree service.

The crew that performed the work was professional and courteous, and I'm very pleased with the result, but I might not use their services again in the future because of their high estimates.

Christian came by the same day requested. Advised tree needed nutritional support but their company not licensed to apply. Recommended other companies. Will honor coupon for trimming limbs on the property in the Spring.

We had 3 trees pruned and 1 massive rotted tree removed that was in danger of taking down several power lines and/or the house. Christian was very professional and no-nonsense as he pointed out all the problem areas on the rotted tree during the estimate. His crew was considerate of the yard during their 3 days here, leaving it in great shape. This was amazing, considering that they used heavy equipment for the removal. The stump was ground and they left me some of the wood chips, as requested. They even emptied an overflowing yard waste area for me! Overall, I was very satisfied and would hire them again.

Christian came to give me an estimate, he was very thorough and explained everything. He then gave me the estimate with the big deal included in the final price. I called and set up a date, they were running a little behind, but called to let me know. They arrived sooner than they said and were very efficient doing all the work. They came and showed me everything that had been done, made sure that was what I expected and asked if there was anything else that I needed. They were all very professional and cleaned up my yard after all the work. I would definiely work with them again.

The service was great! Chris came out beforehand to walk around the place with me; as a professional aborist, he explained what needed to be done first and what could wait for a while (I just moved here). I had to cancel and reschedule the first appointment because I had an unexpected roof leak and that was crucial to get fixed first, and they were perfectly nice about me canceling on them 2 days before they were supposed to come out the first time! We rescheduled, and Chris was one of the two people who came back to do the work. They brought a chipper with them, but when I explained that I wanted to save the branches and brush for a hugelkulture project this spring, they dragged everything to the spot where I wanted it stored and pile it up neatly instead. They also brushed all the leaves off of the roofs while they were here -- I was at another appointment, and it was wonderful to come back and see my house and trees all cleaned up! I'd definitely recommend them and will use them again when I get the rest of the trees done!

Overall, it was worth the value as we used an Angie's list deal for ~half price. Christian came out to provide an estimate and then schedule. There was a wait in getting the service done since they were very busy. The workers were diligent and I had no complaints. They left the chips as requested. They did a good job in cleaning up. I probably would not use them again unless there was a discount of some sort, as I felt the regular price was too high.

CCF Tree Service did an excellent job of pruning my shrubs in front of my house and pruning a big maple tree and two birch trees for me. They were there on the date/time agreed upon and worked all day making sure that everything was completed to my satisfaction. They cleaned up all the trimmings and branches and left my yard looking much better than before. I will definitely use CCF Tree Service in the future.

They were communicative, they had to re-schedule because of the storm that hit South Carolina. He was very communicative in terms of when he was going to re-schedule and things like that so, he was very, very good. Their prices were really good.

Everything went well. Chris came out and gave us an estimate the beginning of the month to cut down the 10 inch tree and a smaller tree as well as grinding the stumps. After looking over the estimate we decided to simply have the 10 inch diameter tree cut down. We had a coupon we purchased through Angies's List $249 for $500 worth of service and we just paid the remaining $50. We were pleased with how things looked when they finished. They were punctual, pleasant, and professional. Thanks CCF!!!

Contacted Christian via e-mail. He was very responsive. Came out to my house to look at two trees about which I had concerns and provide estimates. For one, we decided to just let it fall on its own since it is an a wooded area and not a threat to anything. He made a recommendation for a third tree that may need to be removed in the future. The second tree definitely need removing and was removed a couple of weeks later. I had it brought to the ground and left there to cut for firewood (oak). Everything was done without damage to my property. Overall Christian was very personable and professional. I would not hesitate to use him again.

Everything went very well. Christian did a walkthrough with me to inspect and note trees that needed removing. He was obviously very knowledgeable and explained why he would consider removing each tree so I could make an informed decision. The amount on the estimate he provided was very close to the amount on the invoice and he completed the entire job in a day. We had about 7-8 trees taken out, with most of the expense coming from 2-3 that were especially close the the house or shed.

CCF did and excellent job! The owner, Christian, came out and gave us an estimate. He was professional, prompt, and courteous. We scheduled the work, and again he was prompt, professional, courteous and did a great job removing the trees without causing damage to nearby shrubs & houses. The clean up was thorough. I have already recommended his business to my coworkers!

Christian was great. He was very professional and suggested other things that probably need to be done in our yard. However, we were limited in cost to the deal we purchased, so only used him to remove some poison ivy vines in our yard.

Everything went very well from start to finish. All was done that was on the initial quote. Easy to communicate what I wanted to Christian and I was given advice about certain issues.

Christian came out to do the original evaluation of our dead gum tree. He was personalble , knowledgable, and was able to address issues that we were unaware of, such as dead limbs and branches too close to the house. We weren't able to schedule the appointment until 3 weeks later due to the coupon traffic, but he was clear about his availability and the job was not an emergency. His office was friendly and helpful, and his crew was punctual and efficient. The job was fully completed and the back yard was cleaner than when they arrived. CCF offers other services, and I will definitely use them in the future.

CCF Tree Services provided estimates for 2 services. I chose the smallest, most reasonable for an evaluation. They Arrived on time to quote. They arrived on time when scheduled. They were ALL professional and pleasant. I warned them of sensitive azaleas in certain areas and they took pride in avoiding them completely. They went above and beyond to satisfy. I am extremely pleased with the overall experience. I will have them back! Ron Rock

CCF's crew arrived on the scheduled day & time. There were four guys plus Christian for the first day. The large 28" diameter tree was first to go. It had been struck by lightning about two years ago and was dying. One of the guys worked his way up the tree and cut all of the limbs as he went to the top. Each large limb was lowered by rope and then chipped. He was able to cut the trunk in about 2 ft. sections and dropped them onto the ground without hitting other trees. The two other trees were "evergreen" types that we had planted many years ago but were not doing well. Each was cut the same way with no damage to the surrounding areas. At the end of the first day, all three trees were down and most of their pieces were loaded on their trailer. Almost all of the pile had been chipped when they discovered a yellow jacket nest in the ground under the pile. A little bug spray took care of them. The next day was a little rainy which delayed their start. Once they arrived, Christian started with the stump grinder while the other two guys collected the remainder of the pile and the remaining tree pieces and loaded them on the trailer.The stump grinding took much less time then I thought it would. They loaded all of their equipment back on the trailer and proceeded to clean up our entire property. They blew all of the leaves off the grass and our driveway and raked all of the three stump areas. Needless to say CCF exceeded my expectations but best of all, they exceeded my wife's expectations! We will call them in the future for any other tree issues.

Removed 10 trees in my back yard and ground some of the stumps to clear room for grass. Very helpful and worked with my tight time table even during the Big Deal timeframe. Guys were on time and the owner was there to perform work as well. All work was completed as noted and cleaned up well. Would use again without question...

as noted above the original quote went off as requested CCF showed up and gave me a fair quote and made recommendations and explained what and how they would manage the removal of the trees it all went off without a hitch. The quote was fair and the work was completed and the appearance of the yard you wouldn't know a tree was originally there. I then had them come back a second time and we cleaned up what I had also quoted on the first visit. Overall very satisfied with their work.

Overall the experience was good. Great tree man, fair stump grinder guy.

He gave me what I thought was a fair estimate. We've had a little trouble with wind in our area because of Sandy so they called and rescheduled. They have a little bit remaining and when you take out trees you have to grind the stumps. And that was not done on that day so they said they would be back on Friday or Saturday and I didn't see them on either day. I have not heard from them which is a little disconcerting. I haven't had a chance to call them yet and there is that one little piece left hanging. But other than that they have been super. They are very knowledgeable and worked around the weather and rescheduled and I found all of that wonderful. And its just this last little bit and it doesn't bother me that the work had to be put off or wasn't all completed at one time, but they said they would be back and I haven't gotten a call for them. Everything else was great.

The work was done as requested with very high quality. Also, because of the high winds of Hurricane Sandy on October 30, the owner was accomdating to reschedule the job for November 2. Working with CCF Tree Service was a pleasant experience and they perform quality work, and clean up the site before leaving. Also, the owner did a walk through with me to make any additional trims that I requested.

They gave us an estimate and did the work. They did for my neighbors. They did a pretty good job. They did the work within the time they said. They said they were busy and they came out within two weeks after we spoke. They were punctual. The guy who did the service was very professional. He was knowledgeable about the trees. He was an arborist and he was pretty sound. He was all very upfront and very professional. His price was very competitive than the other quotes we got. He was highly recommended.
