 + -1 moreChristian Etheridge was very prompt in our initial meeting, and gave a thorough explanation of the work he would do and the associated price. His team did the work sooner than promised, and did a great job in the removal and cleanup. I would definitely use them again.
Description of Work: I had CCF Tree Service remove two Red Pine and one Bradford Pear trees in my front yard, including grinding of the stumps. I also had them remove a Boxwood hedge and reduce the height of the remaining hedges.

 + -1 moreThings went very well again this year. Mr. Etheridge was prompt in returning my call and setting up an appointment to go over the scope of work. His estimate for the work was reasonable and the time frame was good for me. His crew was there to do the work within a week. They trimmed my Crepe Myrtles, removed overhanging branches from a tree in my neighbor's yard, and raised the canopies of three eighty-foot poplar trees and one elm. It was amazing to watch the tree cutter climb the trees and work up so high. Everything was done professionally and in a timely manner. They didn't waste any time. Everything was cleaned up beautifully. You could not tell they had been here except for the clean look of the trees. I would highly recommend CCF Tree Service and Christian Etheridge to anyone. He is wonderful to work with.
Description of Work: I used CCF Tree Service last year to trim some Crepe Myrtle trees in my side yard and remove some dead limbs on trees in the front yard. They did such a good job that II called them again this year to complete some tree trimming in the back yard that Mr. Etheridge recommended last year.

 + -1 moreI purchased the special - $400 of tree service for $200. I believe Christian's estimate of $635 (less $200) for the work was overstated significantly but there was nothing I could do since I had already purchased the special and had paid $200. As an example Christian quoted $225 to cut three crape myrtles which another company did for $145. CCF scheduled the work for April 1st. On March 14th I got an unexpected call that CCF was on their way to do the work. They did a good job in record time and were on their way. This experience, and another, makes me question any of the Angie's list deals and whether you get what is promised from a price standpoint. I talked to another Angie's list vendor about another product. I didn't purchase the coupon and found a second contractor on Angie's list at 73% of the cost who did an outstanding job. I would be very wary when signing up for a coupon and do homework on cost before purchasing.

 + -1 moreGreat. They arrived in the morning, my husband walked around with them to show them what we wanted done, and they set to work. They worked fast and furious but also safe a good bit of the day to get it done. They cut a road in the back of our property to enable them to just drop the removed trees back out of sight, saving us quite a bit of money in hauling/dumping, which let us get a lot of work done for not too big a price. They were safe and professional throughout. They did cut our flagged underground dog fence, but that will be fixed. Minor inconvenience and always a risk for this type of work. Would not hesitate to use them again. In fact, now that we can actually see back farther in our yard now, I'm already planning the next project for them- clearing all THOSE downed trees!
Description of Work: Cleared out scrub, dead fall, and small trees in about an acre of yard, chopped up, took to back of property out of sight.

 + -1 moreBecause of equipment failure the work was performed a week or so later than scheduled. I was kept informed about my work request and the new scheduled date was met. All work was documented on the work request so I knew exactly what was going to be accomplished. Everything removed went through the chipper so nothing had to be hauled away except wood chips. The yard was left cleaner than before the work had begun. I plan to use Raleigh Tree Service later this year to remove additional trees that have been damaged over the years.
Description of Work: The objective was to remove any branches hanging over the house. This resulted in the removal of a few trees and the pruning of many other trees.

Description of Work: We had a tall tree that was suffering from advanced root rot. It was on a small incline and, so, was leaning toward our house. We were eager to have it removed as soon as possible since there was a major wind storm coming our way. We were contacted quickly and given a quote for the tree removal along with the removal of many small stumps that we had in our back yard. The job was performed quickly and professionally and within just a few days of the estimate. The price quoted was the price we paid and there were no cavernous holes left in the yard as the tree was ground up and placed in the holes. My son was very happy because one of the workers (who was no longer needed for the tree removal) used a leaf blower and rid our entire yard (back and front) of leaves (which were also mulched in the mulcher they brought). That was supposed to be his job. The machinery did not harm our yard. There was a bit of a ding in the gate, which they told me about and I think they knocked a bit off the price.

Description of Work: CCF really delivered!!! They were Punctual, Professional, Polite, and left my property in Pristine condition. Too often a service provider sees their appointment time as an estimate: CCF arrived on time and immediately began work. And ... they were finished on time! Punctual! The crew was organized, extremely careful to avoid damage to near-by trees and bushes, and provided helpful suggestions on how to accomplish what I wanted. Professional! Every member of the crew interacted with me in a polite and respectful manner. And when I asked for a particular tree stump to be cut in a certain way to make a small "chair" for my grandaugher, the owner, "Christian" went out of his way to perform free-hand cutting of the , stump so my grandaughter could have a "Throne!" This was no easy task since Christian had to use a bigger-than-normal saw, and he had to swap out the chain to use one better designed to make the needed cuts. Polite ... Professional ... and Considerate! Every leave, twig, limb, and spec of sawdust was removed! They even used a blower to clear my walks and driveway of the minimal amount of dust left AFTER they swept. Pristine! Hands down terrific experience!!! Final Point: Christian is a Marine veteran. No wonder he and his crew did such a good job delivering on the Four Ps!

Description of Work: I have about 20 leyland cypress trees in my backyard that act as a privacy screen for my house. I had them capped a few years ago so they are about 30 feet tall. I bought a big deal coupon from CCF and they came out and trimmed the trees both sides and all the way to the top. They did a great job and requested that I inspect after they were through to ensure I was happy with there work - I was :)

 + -1 moreThe owner personally came out and estimated the job and gave us an estimate. After agreeing on the work to be done and the schedule date, we executed an electronic copy of the contract. The work had to be slightly rescheduled due to an equipment problem, but the delay was only one day. On the day of the work, we walked through the items with the owner being very meticulous in the details of the work. The work was neatly completed within the day and everything was cleaned up nicely. Overall, a very professional job.
