Christian and all his employees were very professional and courteous. They arrived early, cleared all the debris as the job progressed and left our yard in great shape when they were done. I would definitely recommend them to friends and neighbors and will use them again ourselves if needed.

Will was very professional and responsive. He did a great job of removing the river birch, grinding the stump and removing roots that were above ground. He and his crew cleaned the site of leaves and wood chips before they left. I will definitely hire them again!

Very well run business. They follow up with you and provide knowledgeable feedback on your trees/shrubs. In fact, Cameron will tell you that he differentiates his business on his knowledge and quality of service, not necessarily on price. What I mean by this is that this is a business that does excellent work that is very high quality. It may not be the cheapest but it will be the best. I used CCF twice - once for stump removal and once for spraying my shrubs for insects and fungus. Both times the work was done very professionally in a timely manner. In terms of the spraying of the shrubs, the results (so far) have been excellent and my Indian Hawthorne bushes that have never thrived due to fungus seems to be doing better than ever. Regarding the stump grinding, they not only ground the stumps but removed the excess wood chips and leveled out the area where the stumps were. Right now, if you did not know that the stumps had been in my yard, you would never know it. They did a great job. One additional story to share on the stump grinding - during this the accidentally hit my cable TV cable. I tell you this not to complain as "stuff happens". I tell you this to share how they handled it. What they did was go get parts to fix the cable and then dig up the area to find the two pieces of the cable to fix it. They must have spent at least an extra 90 min at my house trying to fix this problem and in the end, they were not able to do so but quickly told me that if the cable company charged me anything to call their office and they would reimburse me. I believe that you can tell the quality of a company by how they handle difficult situations and they could not have handled this more professionally. I would recommend them and their service. They are quality tree and shrub professionals.

Raleigh Tree Service was very professional and neat. I purchased the Angie's Big Deal coupon for tree service and added additional work. Raleigh Tree Service was accommodating and able to perform all tasks neatly. I was pleased with the tree cutting and stump grinding as well 3-4 additional limbs removed from another pine tree (not listed in contract) as a last minute request. The company is thoughtful about your landscaping (uses "landscape tires" as to not damage the lawn), has the science background to perform the work with care (arborist), and has the equipment to deal with any job (professional log haulers, landscape fork lifts, and large dump trucks). I will definitely use again next time for trimming large shrubs /small trees.

We responded to an Angie's List promotion from Raleigh Tree Service so the price we paid was $200 off the regular price. We wanted to keep some of the wood from the tree removal as fire wood and Will was very accommodating with our request, cutting up the logs into fireplace sized pieces. When we called, he gave us an appointment time for an estimate. When he came for the estimate, he was on time and was very thorough. We had questions about some of the other trees on the property and appreciated very much his insight and advice as an arborist about some of these trees. He pointed out which trees were still healthy and others which had issues we needed to watch. On the day of the work, Will and his assistant came, did the work safely and professionally and cleaned up after themselves. We are very pleased with the work done by Will and his assistant. We plan to call Raleigh Tree Service for any future tree work on our property.

The company promptly called and scheduled an appointment and was very cheerful and pleasant. However, they did not show up for the initial date and rescheduled twice- when they came they explained there had been an accident with their crew and trucks and that although not their fault had tied up the company and gotten them behind. They apologized as they thought we had been informed of the circumstances and when i explained we had not known why they were not showing up they apologized by doing extra work not contracted but given in the initial estimate to show they were sorry and wanted us to be happy. All the work was done quickly, cleaned up, and removed while ensuring our newly poured driveway was not used which made the work harder on the guys to remove limbs ( this was done to avoid scarring at their suggestion). They also knocked 20% off the payment for our trouble. All in all a very good company with great outcome- the woods they trimmed look amazing and had I known they were that good at grooming trees and bushes I would have included it in the work plan. I feel they went way above and beyond to make up for the delay and the quality of their work and professionalism is outstanding. I highly recommend them-

I had a large, dead oak tree that was leaning toward my house. Will responded within a day to set up a time for an estimate, and he recommended a more expensive plan because of the danger of the brittle tree. After comparing several estimates, I agreed with his plan as the best overall. He is fully insured and also has workman's comp insurance as well. I signed a contract and because of my circumstances he came the very next day and got rid of the tree safely!! I was totally satisfied and would use Will at Raleigh Tree Service again!

They showed up a month ahead of time which i didn't like . I did like the job overall though when it was finished

I used them from an Angie's List Deal of the Day. They came on time and trimmed the large pine trees away from the house and trimmed the dead limbs from all trees to allow for more filtered sun light. I was happy with the work.

It was excellent. They were very knowledgable. They did everything they said they were going to do. I would definitely use them again.

He wasn't able to trim my trees for that amount and said it would cost an additional $400. to do the work. He was very nice but wasn't able to do the work.

Unable to provide a complete review of CCF as CCF did not perform the agreed on service. CCF used a subcontractor for our service. This subcontractor is a friend?s company from Ohio. CCF did not provide advance notice it would use a sub-contractor for our job. I discovered that CCF had subcontractor only when I arrived home after work to find the sub finishing the job. The SUB appears to have provided good service. As with service of this nature, we will not be able to evaluate the impact on our trees until later in the season. The SUB?s spoke person politely walked me through the various activities CCF and I had discussed after I asked for this walk-through. This SUB observed CCF and his firm had a long-standing relationship and would periodically assist each other. I have 3 recommendations for CCF and it?s SUB. 1. Advise your clients you may use a SUB. I engaged CCF based on its reputation and Angie?s list rating?not a SUB. I appreciate CCF?s desire to perform its services during a limited window of time. However, I may not have engaged CCF if I had known they may use a SUB for these services. 2. Give the client notice as to the day and time you have scheduled the job. The client can then be on site to walk through the service to be performed to make sure the service provider and the client are on the same page. Moreover, if the client needs to move any vehicles or other property that may be damaged as a result of the service, this notice will provide the client time to take that action. We had one of our vehicles parked near 3 tress the SUB removed dead wood and other branches. The SUB?s spoke person observed they had to work around this vehicle while dropping limbs. Though no damage appears to have occurred to the vehicle, a call prior to arrival would have provided us time to come home and move the vehicle from harm?s way. 3. Notify the client?s neighbors before entering their yards. The SUB entered my neighbor?s fenced yard to perform part of the service. Our neighbor has pets with access to their years that should be secured for the safety of the pet and strangers entering the yard. My neighbor expressed strong concerns to my wife and me concerning the SUB?s unannounced entry to their yard.

I bought a deal for $400 worth of tree service. Due to an influx of business they wouldn't be available for 7 weeks. The owner was extremely professional

Got an estimate. Had to trim the work down to what was necessary and not just nice to do.

Very satisfied, they did an awesome job. Very Professional, spent all day working. Paid close attention to detail, and honest with their job.

Taking down trees is risky and difficult. It was nice that I could trust Christian and Austin to take care of everything! I still have plenty of trees and will use them again in the future!

Fast estimate and the work was done quickly. Clean up was good.

Met with principal and was given a verbal estimate with the promise that a written estimate would be sent overnight; however, it was three weeks before the written estimate was received, Subsequently, we contacted two other companies and obtained estimates for the same work. These two were much lower in price than CCF--- even considering the deal. CCF was not able to do the work until the end of March and was slow to respond to the written estimate request and did not return telephone calls in a timely manner; thus, we looked for other companies. Because of the high price difference between CCF and other providers, we requested that a refund be issued by CCF and he agreed to the refund request.

Will the owner of Raleigh Tree Service, not only did the estimate, which was $600.00 less than the closest other estimate, but did the work with his crew. He is personable, professional, and very knowledgeable. Our property was left spick and span. Other than looking a lot better, you would never know anyone with big heavy equipment had been all over our property. In the future, should we need trees or brush removed, Raleigh Tree Service will be the only company we will call. We give them an A+.

Company was patient as I had changed dates on them several times. Crew was efficient and careful. Nice cleanup afterwards as well.

Overall very happy with the job

Unfortunately they told me that they would arrive at 330 in the afternoon and didnt show up until almost 6pm. I had to call them to see if they were still coming. When they arrived they were apologetic and explained that the customer before me requested extra work.They got right to work. There were four gentlemen and got the work done quickly and efficiently. I was happy with the service and thrilled with the quality of work they provided. Discarded all the tree scraps ,raked and swept my driveway. Before they left they shared some tips with me to keep my trees healthy

Contacted CCF and after three attempts we met to discuss the work to be completed. The $400 deal become an estimate of more than $600. As estimate was promised in overnight email; however, it was weeks before the estimate came in our email. Because of the delay we contacted two other companies for estimates. Surprise - both companies came in well under CCF without the big deal. Had to go with another provider.

They were very easy and cooperative and eager to please. The owner knew the trees and saw a few things that needed to be addressed.
