Probuild

Not the fault of Probuild; 9 of the windows lost their seals within 45 days of moving. Probuild came out and evaluated and ordered new ones. 
They came to install the 9 and broke the first one. Then 3 more leaving 4 broken windows 2 with tape on them. No house warming party for us. 
 Replacements were due in around March 9 and PB said that they would call and advise status never did. We were out of town and upon return called them on the 24th. They were to call back. The GC called them. Still as of the 26th no call back. 
Of all the SCs the GC used were all OK. But not this firm or in my opinion Jeldwin.

This started in November of 2011. The double door to the deck of our 2 year old townhouse had rotted through. Probuild agreed To replaced it. Seriously don't know where to begin - the first guy that showed up (after weeks & weeks of being put off and one delay after another) actually tore off the entire double door and casing before realizing he had brought the wrong size replacement door. He ended up just putting the original rotting and now broken door and frame back in the hole in the side of our house. It took about two months to get them back to fix this mess and guess what? They had the wrong size door again! At least this time they hadn't ripped the entire door and frame out. This actually happened two more time. After weeks of calling and bugging these guys they would show up screw something up and leave. Finally, after over 2 years (april2013),they came and replaced the door only to realize that the transom window over the doors did not match the transom windows right next to it! Now they have just disappeared , won't return phone calls or emails. Learn from our mistake - avoid probuild of Raleigh. They left us with a real mess .
