The representative was very professional.  I liked the fact that they were bonded and said that they provided employees with health insurance. It took a while to schedule the service because they were pretty busy. .  They cut down trees and did a reasonably neat job.  However, the tree they were removing was left at the roadside for about a week, killing grass.  They it picked up promptly after a reminder call.

Excellent experience.  The response was very prompt.  The work was done efficiently and they did a great job cleaning up after.  I would highly recommend them.

Work completed as expected. Timely. professional. cleaned up debris. stump grinding machinery left light tire tracks in the beds.

Excellent. I have obtained estimates from, and had work done by, several tree companies. Leaf and Limb's prices are fair; they are professional, skilled, and careful in their work, and they are a pleasure to have around. I also greatly appreciate the fact that they will not undertake unsafe practices to cut costs.

Leaf and Limb was responsive, punctual, and very professional. I talked to several companies, and Leaf and Limb's estimates were right in line with the average, but they were definitely the most professional company. I felt very comfortable hiring them and knew that they would do a great job, especially on the willow oak which needed some tending to stay healthy. The office personnel were great, and the crew was professional. The work they did was excellent, and they left the yard spotless. I would highly recommend them.

This is actually the second time we've called in Colin.  In true Angie's List spirit, L&L was recommended by our neighbors.  (We have neighbors who we have dubbed our "Better Homes and Gardens" neighbors because their property is immaculate both inside the home and outside.  If they recommend someone, we can trust the review.)  Colin or one of his employees comes out when scheduled to give an estimate.  Our calls have not been for emergencies, so we have had to schedule ahead as much as two months, weather permitting, for the actual service due to a)the weather and b)their popularity, but it's definitely worth the wait if you're trying to get a nonemergency tree removal or trim.  For the most recent work done, the estimate given was both for tree removal and for scale treatment and removal of dead limbs.  We were given a full explanation of what each would entail and, of course, the cost.  We opted to save the big, old maple in our backyard.  The autumn after the work was done, for the first time, we had lovely yellow leaves instead of ugly, grey leaves.
Prior to this, we've also had them remove a huge, dead Pin Oak that was very close to our house.  We have a wood burning stove and they cut the trunk and larger branched down to manageable logs that we're STILL using as firewood, chip/shredded the other limbs, ground the stump and cleaned up after themselves.  They also removed dead branches from some white oaks we have and, in the cold weather, pruned back our crepe myrtles.  I have them as our go-to tree surgeons.

We chose them because my husband really liked them when they gave us the estimate. They were really careful with the rest of our yard. I was pretty happy with that. The job was one day. They hauled away everything. They were great.

I was very impressed with Leaf & Limb starting with the estimate.  Very professional, definitely knowledgeable of trees, marked the trees for removal or pruning even before I agreed to use their service.  The price was competitive with another estimate I received.  They sent me detailed information in advance about how the process works - from cutting to stump grinding to where the tree trunks would be until they were picked up and the time-line for each.They reviewed all the work with me before they did any of it and did a great job, including handling some last minute additions.  They were always pleasant an professional, from the estimator to the team that did the work to the office staff who answered emails promptly.

Leaf and limb was fantastic to work with!  First, the communication from their office was superb; they called to set up an appointment, e-mailed to remind me of the appointment.  the gentleman that came out was very thorough, right on time, gave me a high level bid then and followed up with a final bid that evening via e-mail.  The bid was below 3 others that we received but i felt that their knowledge was above the other bids!
We approved the contract that night and were on their schedule; they told us from the beginning that their wait was about 4 weeks which was fine for us; they actually came out in 3 weeks so they were under their estimate!  Again, the communication was superb... e-mailed one week out, then the day before, communicated that they couldn't come out due to weather, etc.  
The crews that came out were very nice and did a great job; I felt like they listened to our concerns and discussed how they were going to handle the job.
Would HIGHLY recommend them and will definitely use them again!

I was impressed with the estimator's knowledge of trees and the guidance they provided in defining the job.  The price was also very competitive.  They were very responsive to emails and gave a detailed description of what to expect in the job.  The job was done on time and they fit in a few other items for me last minute.  They did a great job from start to finish.

They charged me emergency service for the work on the roof but they went ahead and did all the work. They only charged me for the emergency service for the work on the roof. They did a good job.

These guys were great.  They worked with me on multiple estimates and were very accommodating to making changes without a hassle.  They were very good at communicating when the available window for service would be and called me before hand to confirm. 

Once they arrived they were courteous and professional and performed the job as requested with no issues.  The crew was nice enough to answer all my questions before and during the service.

The crew then cleaned the work area to a point where it looks better than when they arrived and even cleaned the entire driveway.

 I would recommend Leaf & Limb to anyone who needs a tree service.

They were very prompt in every stage from providing an estimate to the actual tree removals, including stump grinding.   Also, we made a change mid-stream on them and they reacted quickly to the change and did the additional work we had requested.   The things I liked most:    (1) promptness (2) competitive price (3) courtesy and (4) the cleaned up the yard well after the work was completed.

The removal went well, Leaf & Limb took down two 60+ foot willow oaks down very quickly with minimal inconvenience to me.  The only issue was some limbs that I intended on keeping for firewood was hauled offsite.  Colin (the owner) responded quickly and brought by wood from another job to replace it.
Highly satisfied with the results and the price.  I would use their service again for any future needs.

Leo the crew chief explained all that they were going to do and he and his crew were very professional. After review of work order all was completed and we could not be more pleased. All debris was chipped and removed yard was cleaner than when they arrived. It impressed me that they did not use tree spikes to climb the pine as they said it could damage the tree.

We have 4 trees that are planted in beds around the house and were growing into the gutters, roof, windows, etc. Chris came out and assessed the trees and decided a good trimming and a few limbs being removed was all that was needed. The trees provide a lot of shade so being able to keep them was a huge plus. We had 1 tree completely removed and you would never know it was there now based on their clean up of the stump. Price was reasonable for the job and timely. Will use them in the future.

The work had been requested by my home insurance provider to be completed as soon as possible.  They responded to my on line request, came out for the estimate and completed the work within three weeks of my first contact with them.  They were on time and professional.  All limbs and debris were removed and the area was cleaned. They did leave some wood behind for firewood, per my request.  I appreciated the speed with which Leaf and Limb responded.  I had requested estimates from two other companies.  One was more expensive and would not be able to do the work until August.  The other company never called me back.  Now I have my "go to"  arborist for the future!

Leaf and Limb are an excellent company to work with! They scheduled a time to come out and evaluate my front yard tree, and the contact that met me was on time, helpful, and through. After receiving the free quote (overnight by the way), the office gave me an idea of when my work would be done. Closer to work day, the office emailed me to remind me. The work was performed exactly as described, and they left nothing behind, leaving my yard looking great! My 5 year old maple tree is now better shaped and provides a better 'front of house' picture from the street. I also feel confident that the tree is healthier with a thinner canopy and likely to withstand weather better in the future. I couldn't recommend Leaf and Limb more highly!

The company was great! Besides being the best price around (I got four quotes), they did a very nice job. They were professional, asked how much we wanted trimmed and how we wanted the tree shaped. I was happy with the outcome!

It went very well - the crew was on time and efficient, and left the area clean and without debris.
I did need to call to get the results of the estimate (done when I was not at home). It was not automatically sent.  Very minor issue though and I would certainly use the business again; I would just clarify when I should expect the estimate if I was not able to receive it in person.
