All the visits I've had with Dr. Fisher for my dogs have been great. No complaints. One of my dogs was having seizures and he put her on some medication and even renewed the prescription when I called and gave him an update without me having to take her back for another visit. That was great and saved me time and $$. He actually listens to the issues you are concerned about and gives you straight up advice and never tries to sell you a bunch of extra procedures that are draining on the wallet and rough on the animal.

I have been taking my pets, 3 dogs and a cat to Dr. Fisher
for about 8 years. I am so totally happy with Dr. Fisher, his
staff and their loving care of my crew.
We lived away from the Raleigh area for about 4 of those 8 years but would return approximately
every 6-8 weeks to have our Standard French Poodle groomed. Our poodle is deaf
and requires extra loving care when she is groomed. She received a lot of TLC
from all.
I would highly recommend Fisher Veterinary Hospital and Grooming to anyone who is looking for loving care for their pets.

It was a pleasant experience. I have been very impressed. The office is in an older building but the inside is very clean and neat. I'm very impressed!!!

He is really good. We have two Shih Tzu. There was a lady walking down with a Shih Tzu and we just asked her who she sees for veterinarians and she said we have to see Dr. Fisher. She said he is wonderful and we confirm that. He is outstanding. His name is Joe Dean Fisher. He does an outstanding job. We had a minor surgery done on both of our dogs. We've also had our dogs groomed there, they have a grooming salon and they do a great job. They are really good. Everybody that works there loves animals and they really treat them as their best friend. They really do an outstanding job. Dr. Fisher is an animal lover. He doesn't groom but the people that work for me does. The dogs like going there which is good because some the dogs don't. I would recommend them to others. The office is an independent building and it's very clean. The doctor as well as all of his staff is very professional in everything they do. I'll take any dog or any kind of animal there. He literally hugs the dogs and it's funny because I've never seen a veterinarian do that. He actually talks to them like his best friend and the dogs respond. I think the dogs sense the care. It's funny because he hugs them all and they are just happy as they can be.

He is an excellent vet. He takes a conservative approach. He does not do unnecessary procedures. He does not just jump to the expensive testing he looks for alternative solutions.

We have used Dr. Fisher several times and absolutely love him. My animals were soooo much more at ease with him than any other vet we've been to. Most caring vet...he obviously is in a line of work he loves. Office staff are very nice and professional. Sometimes can run a little late...but he will take all the time you need with him during your appt. The best!

I have been using Dr Fisher since we moved down here with our bulldog in 2004. He is a bulldog breeder and knew our dog in and out. He helped us provide the best quality of life through the years until our bulldog passed on. I continue to bring our current dog to him and find he is fair, treats with a "let's start with a minimal" approach (rather than try and push intensive / expensive procedures on you). Dr Fisher put it best when our bulldog was near the end and we were worried we were keeping him alive at a cost: Dr Fisher said that he's there for the dog, not us, and would be upfront with us because he would alwyas put the dog's best interest first.

Dr. Fisher is the best! He has a great rapport with animals and has been our family vet for 8 years. He is accessible and takes time to answer your questions, especially when there are issues with your pet's health. He also has a great staff who have been with him for years. This is not a fancy clinic so you know you're paying for great care not overhead. I would especially recommend Dr. Fisher for anyone with brachiocephalic breeds like pugs, bulldogs, etc.
