I have used them for years. We put our house on the market so they came and did a deep cleaning last week. I would tell others they're punctual, honest, and easy to work with. The workers are great, you can talk to them, they'll do, you know, if you tell them you need something they'd be happy to do it.

English Rose Cleaning was fantastic. I felt his price was super fair, the work was quality, and on every level he was professional. Ben came to my rescue. I had moved out of the house about 10 days before closing. Ben did the final cleaning. AFTER he had cleaned, a contractor made several messes in the house and we didn't find out until one day before closing. The buyer was going to delay the closing. I called Ben and he had a full day but changed his schedule so that he could go over and take care of the house. The buyer then changed back to closing on time. Truly, such a professional this man is and so loyal to me after I had only used him twice. They don't come better than this.

They come in every month to clean our three bedroom apartment. It's quite a lot of house work to clean. It's been very good. They are very receptive to changing the day if need be. The cleaning is very well done. I'm quite happy with them. I had seen their car in the neighborhood and I knew that they cleaned in this region. I also went on to a social networking site and found out that they had some good reviews.

They cleaned the house in one hour. I found them in the Angie's House monthly magazine with a coupon. The first cleaning they gave me 10% off. The next cleaning I get from them would be 15% off. The normal price would be $135 for that first cleaning. I believe they were very professional and attentive. I also liked the interview with the owner, Ben Cooper. He was very prompt responding to me through email and phone. He really tried to accomodate me since he was booked. I had a dinner party in a couple days, and he made sure to send his team before my party. The way he does business is top notch.

I spent about $200 for their service. They did everything that they said they would do. They did an excellent job. They were very good. They were kind of pricey.

Three people..1 hr 15mts 1100sf. On first glance everything looked good. On second look they missed quite a few things...behind bathroom door..beside nite table carpet. Downstairs beside refrigerator..seats and rungs of chairs..behind sofa..behind computer..on top of tv cabinet. I didn't say anything and they came back a second time..2 people 1 hour. They did just ok but I didn't think it was a service I wanted to continue to use. I am looking for a company that does a through job.

"In response to this review I would like to make the following comments. Firstly, our charge was not $150. The initial clean was $112.50 with a 10% discount bringing the charge down to $101.25 for three people working 1.25 hours. We cleaned a second time for which the member received a 15% discount. After the initial clean I asked her if she was happy with everything and she said she was. I told her to call me if there was anything missed as we guarantee our work 100%, but I did not hear from her after this clean and she booked a second clean and again she was asked if everything was satisfactory and again, she responded that it was. The team that cleaned the member's house has been with this company for over two years and I have never received any complaints about their work up until now. We endeavor to get everything as clean as possible during an initial clean, but it is possible that a few areas might get overlooked as our employees are not familiar with the house and it might take a couple of cleans to get everything clean, which is why I always ask the client to call me if areas did get missed so that we may go back and rectify the situation. We have been in business over twelve years and our mission has always been to provide the best service possible, but it is essential that there is good communication between the client and our company as every house is different."

They usually come on a monthly basis. They do a good job. I have stuck with them because they are very flexible. They have one set price for cleaning my house and I can call them whenever I need it done. They are very quick to respond and to arrange a time that works. They are very flexible and easy to work with. They are very friendly.

They do a good job. They bring enough people to get the job done quickly. They are reasonably priced. The crew is kind and courteous. You can change the spacing of the time they come out. They are customer oriented.

I only used this company twice. The same team was used. I was told by the owner that they change which rooms each team member cleans each time so he can tell who is performing well. The first time, there were spots in the kitchen that were missed and the second time there were places on the bathroom floor that were missed. The person not performing well? The owner! He was part of the team and the rooms he was responsible for were not as well cleaned as his employee's rooms. He did re-clean those areas I pointed out, however, I was home when they were cleaning. I would have given them another chance, but the owner never called me back. He repeatedly reminded me how much business he already had. Also, when I asked him for a copy of his insurance, he refused, giving me an explanation of past experience giving this information out. He showed it to me, but would not make a copy. That did not seem very professional. Most companies, whatever their category at Angie's List, should be willing to give you a copy of their insurance and bonding information to work in your home.

I FURTHER EXPLAINED THAT WE CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH THE IMPORTANCE OF COMMUNICATION BETWEEN US AND THE CLIENT. EVERY CLIENT HAS DIFFERENT EXPECTATIONS AND IT CAN TAKE UP TO 2-3 CLEANS BEFORE WE GET ON THE SAME PAGE WITH THE CLIENT. AFTER THE INITIAL CLEAN I CALLED HER TO GET HER FEEDBACK AND SHE ASSURED ME THAT EVERYTHING LOOKED FINE. SHE BOOKED A SECOND CLEAN AND AGAIN I CALLED, AND AGAIN SHE SAID EVERYTHING WAS FINE. HOWEVER, I CALLED HER TO SCHEDULE ANOTHER CLEAN AND LEFT A MESSAGE AND NEVER HEARD BACK FROM HER. AS FOR THE MATTER CONCERNING OUR INSURANCE AND BONDING. I DID SHOW HER PROOF OF THESE. HOWEVER, OUR INSURANCE AGENT INFORMED US TO NEVER GIVE OUT ACTUAL COPIES AS IN THEIR EXPERIENCE IT USUALLY MEANS THAT A CLAIM WILL BE FILED. WE HAVE BEEN IN BUSINESS SINCE 1997 AND HAVE MANY, MANY SATISFIED CLIENTS, MANY OF WHOM HAVE BEEN REFERRED TO US BY OTHER CLIENTS. IT IS UNFORTUNATE WHEN THERE IS A BREAKDOWN IN COMMUNICATION AND WHEN WE ARE NOT AFFORDED THE OPPORTUNITY TO RECTIFY ANY ISSUES A CLIENT MAY HAVE. Overall, English Rose did a good job cleaning our house. English Rose was very responsive to my initial call, came when they said they would come, followed up to make sure things were done to my expectations and even came back to rectify the few issues we had. Issues included smudges still on refrigerator/microwave handles, small spill of detergent on laundry floor not cleaned, some dusting at the base of furniture. However, the owner followed up and had the team come back for a complimentary cleaning and made sure to not miss anything. Given the initial visit is done on an hourly basis, I think that some of the initial omissions may have been missed in an effort to go quickly to keep costs down. Overall, our hardwood floors got the best cleaning they have ever had and I'd recommend English Rose. I'd like to use them regularly, but simply cannot afford the $3900/year that it would cost to clean my house bi-weekly. I do intend, however, to use them for one-time cleanings in the future.

Not very well. After 2 visits we canceled our service, they did not even pick up a vase while wiping a coffee table. First visit missed a room completely.

"THE MEMBER WAS THE PERSON THAT HIRED US OVER THE PHONE, BUT I NEVER DID ACTUALLY MEET HER. I ONLY MET HER MOTHER. AFTER THE INITIAL CLEANING I DID ASK IF THEY HAD ANY ISSUES WITH THE CLEANING AS OUR COMPANY OFFERS 100% SATISFACTION GUARANTEED. SHE TOLD ME THEY HAD NO ISSUES. DURING THE ESTIMATE I ALSO MENTIONED TO HER THAT IF ANY DOORS WERE CLOSED IN THE HOME WHEN WE CLEAN WE DO NOT ENTER AS THIS IS OUR POLICY AND WE ALWAYS COMMUNICATE THIS TO OUR CLIENTS. ONE DOOR WAS CLOSED IN THE HOME, THEREFORE WE DID NOT ENTER. AFTER EVERY CLEAN I ASKED IF THEY HAD ANY ISSUES WITH THE SERVICE AND THE RESPONSE WAS ALWAYS NO. I WAS INFORMED THAT THE REASON THEY WERE DROPPING THE SERVICE WAS THAT THEY WERE MOVING TO A LARGER HOME IN WAKE FOREST. I FEEL THERE WAS A MAJOR COMMUNICATION PROBLEM WITH THIS CLIENT AS THE PERSON WHO HIRED US, THE DAUGHTER, NEVER COMMUNICATED DIRECTLY WITH ME. THE MOTHER WAS ALWAYS IN THE HOME AND WAS CONSTANTLY GETTING IN THE WAY WHILE WE WERE CLEANING. THE FEW TIMES THAT WE DID CLEAN SHE WOULD COME INTO THE KITCHEN AFTER WE HAD JUST FINISHED CLEANING IT TO GET SOMETHING TO EAT AND WOULD DROP CRUMBS ON THE FLOOR. I WENT BACK A SECOND TIME TO CLEAN UP HER MESS ON THE KITCHEN FLOOR. IT IS VERY UNFORTUNATE THIS CLIENT DID NOT COMMUNICATE DIRECTLY TO ME AS WE HAVE BEEN IN BUSINESS SINCE 1997 AND WE ARE, AND HAVE ALWAYS BEEN, PROACTIVE WITH ALL OF OUR NEW CLIENTS TO ENSURE THEY ARE 100% HAPPY WITH OUR SERVICE.
