DSR Moving Corporation

Dwight Rodgers came to our home to give us an estimate and, I must admit, he was so relaxed and unassuming, that I was a little nervous about hiring his company because there was no sales pitch and no pressure. He gave me an estimate that it would not cost more than $1700, "I promise it won't cost more than $1700", he said.  I liked the price and he brought three big, strong guys with him for the estimate!!!  It gave me confidence that they could handle my solid wood furniture. We discussed the date and it was no problem for him either!
No pressure calls asking me if I had made a decision yet.  The estimate was the lowest of all the other companies I called. 
As a matter of fact, "2 Men and a Truck" REGIONAL MANAGER lived in an apartment in my building and never even bothered to give me an estimate!!! I even emailed him to remind him I was waiting for his estimate but he never answered me!!! hahahahaha I would never recommend them!
But the DSR Moving men were extremely polite and very respectful of me, my family and our belongings. They called and told me that they would be a little late and I didn't mind since we were still packing.  They came, sized up my move and got right to work. It was a 2 load trip. We moved only 4 miles away. They took such good care of our belongings, took 30 minutes for lunch and did not charge me for that time. In the end, They only charged us $800 ... less than 1/2 of the estimate. They were polite, organized and got this huge job done in just 5 1/2 hours. I was very grateful. Dwight Rodgers was even willing to move our piano another day and did so a few days after the July 4th holiday (we still had the apt.) at NO EXTRA CHARGE!
This was, by far, THE LEAST STRESSFUL MOVE I have ever experienced in my life and we moved here to Cary from NJ, less than a year ago!! Two moves in 11 months!! Ugh! But DSR Moving Corp. did such a great job and alleviated all of our fears and concerns by how organized, respectful and efficiently they were.  They worked so well together!.
We are so completely pleased that DSR did our move so efficiently, calmly and without any difficulties or incidents. WeHIGHLY RECOMMEND DSR MOVING CORP. and will definitely use them again the next time we have to move!

Dwight and Tim came in later than scheduled (9am), but it didn't really bother us that much. 
And they worked fast. They came in and picked up all the things in the fastest way I can tell. Most importantly, they helped move the heavy washer and dryer, without damaging them what so ever, in a professional way. All process went quick and safely. So far we didn't notice anything missing or damaged.

Move went flawlessly without a hitch. Brian and John were scheduled to arrive at 9:00 a.m. but were about 10 minutes late. However, they called to let us know this and then arrived exactly at the specified time. They wrapped all furniture thoroughly and moved at a very brisk pace, thereby minimizing charges. The above-mentioned rate was the lowest quote we received and the charges were exactly the same as the estimate originally given by owner Dwight. Initially had a miscommunication with Dwight but this was due to the fact that he had one of our old email addresses on file and so we did not see early emails he sent.
Movers were professional, courteous, and efficient. Not a moment was wasted in expediting our move. I am very picky about service and professionalism and DSR movers get top marks. I definitely would use them again.

From the beginning Dwight was a pleasure to work with. When booking the move, he made it clear that he could be flexible around our closing, and truly proved to be. With all the headaches of buying a home, DSR will made sure our move was not be one of them!
He and his team remained optimistic and professional throughout our move...which was wonderful to work with. The team loaded what seemed like and an impossible amount of our stuff in one trip and unloaded everything with ease. Dwight even helped us set up one of our beds to save us some time.
While we are still unpacking, and haven't had a chance to go through everything with a fine tooth comb...so far we only lost 3 coffee mugs in the move - which I take has a huge sign of success!
I hope we don't have to move again for a long time, but if we do I am most definitely hiring DSR!

I needed to move large pieces of furniture to a house in Wilmington. I spoke with DSR and was impressed with the professionalism and attitude. He gave me an estimate and explained how he arrived at that estimate. He also said that the estimate was the most it would cost, but if the weight was lower than his estimate, my cost might be LOWER!! (It wasn't, but that was probably because I added "just one more thing" a couple of times.) The employees were very efficient and careful with my furniture. When they arrived in Wilmington, he walked through the rooms asking me what I wanted where. (I admit I hadn't really given it a lot of thought.) He was patient with me while I decided, and then they set to work placing the furniture. They did an excellent job, were very friendly and courteous, and I am planning on using them in the spring when I, hopefully, complete my move to Wilmington.
