DD Painting Home Renovation

Diego and his crew was Amazing and very patient with me. I had my kitchen redesigned with a Bar and backslash added. He recommended a change of lighting and I must admit it illuminated the room. DD Paiinting was very reasonable and comparison in pricing and did the job in a fashionable time frame. The owner Diego fixed my deck as well as stained it and it now presents an Island theme. The flooring in my home was dark and I had them replace it with something lighter in color to give a different look to downstairs area. His crew was very professional and respectful of my time and space. I will use them over and over again. Please give them a call for all your needs...Did I mention they have been doing upgrades and different things to my home since I purchased it 10 years ago. We are like Family now!!!

DD Painting does an outstanding job! This is the second major job we hired them for, our deck is huge and they have exceeded our expectations. The work is top notch with exceptional attention to detail and quality materials. They work fast and keep the job site clean at the end of the day. I have hired DD Painting as a subcontractor for 10's of jobs over the past 5-6 years. These have ranged from small jobs costing a few hundred dollars to larger one in excess of $5,000. On balance I am very satisfied with the services performed in both quality and price. Armando is responsive to my calls and requests and has often provided valuable advice and recommendations on how to best do a job (surface prep, grade of paint, etc.). I will continue to hire him for my projects requiring painting, drywall and pressure washing.

hired Armando, the owner of DD painting and renovations to renovate my home in August of 2019. A year and two months later my home is still not finished nor do I have fully functioning bathrooms. Armando AKA Diego Armando Vargas Tejada is the worst contractor in Raleigh, he would not finish the job he was paid for. My house was quite a project and there were multiple issues. And because of so many issues more projects were started that needed to have materials and be paid for. I ended up paying Armando before all of the work was completed. He dragged out my renovation and would not respond when I wanted to know when he'd be back to work on things. He is the most discourteous businessman I've ever dealt with. He sent people to do the work that did crap work and then wouldn't return any of my calls or emails to fix things. He left contractor waste in my driveway for two months. I had the city called on me because of it. Also, I have a gas furnace, the guys he had install my floor, put the new floor over the big bronze key lock on the floor that you have to put a key in to work the fireplace. He told me at first he didn't know what I was talking about and I needed to show him a picture in order for him to fix it. Fast forward through the depressing renovation nightmare and three weeks ago I finally am able to get him to agree to come fix things that are messed up and I'm not happy with as well as to finish my house. He says he'll be here the following Wed. He never showed up, never responded to my texts, nothing for two weeks I told him I had enough and I was going to let others know about his ****** business practices if I didn't hear from him by Fri. Be mindful that he has put me off for weeks and a month at times and left me hanging in a house being remodeled for over a year that I was only able to install a sink in the kitchen about two months ago. Before that, I had to use the tub. I had enough. It gets really depressing living in a home like this and now I have to find someone to finish my house because Armando's a **** and doesn't finish jobs that he's been paid for. He's a liar, a cheat, and a theif. He told me he'd see me in court. Do not hire this man to do any work in your home. He will leave you high and dry with a section 8 renovation.
