I came outside just in time to see a Cooper Pest Control technician push the snake down her driveway to the street. He then tossed it across the street into the gutter next to our house. When I asked him if he was just going to leave it there, instead of dispatching or capturing it, he said "It's on public property now. It's not my problem." By the time I got my husband outside to capture it, the snake had gone into our bushes. When I told the technician I was going to tell my neighbors not to use their services, he replied, "Good. Go ahead."
I am an elderly woman and my neighbor is a widow. I hope for her sake the snake doesn't try to come back into her home. If Cooper is not equipped to deal with large snakes (this one was well over 15" long), they should have said so. That man didn't solve the problem. He just shoved it off onto someone else.
They are always very courteous and professional. They inspect for termites and any other bugs. They even take my calls and answer my questions when I find a strange bug in or near my house.
