Description of Work: Very pleased with their service. I called them at 8:30 in the morning to fix my washing machine and someone was here by early afternoon that same day. Technician was professional, courteous and figured out what had gone on with the washing machine in no time. Price was reasonable. I would definitely have them come out for appliance repair again.

Description of Work: The icemaker on our 9 year old refrigerator had not been working for several years. Then the refrigerator started to periodically flood on the inside under the vegetable bin and required sponging. Owner answered the phone. I told him what was wrong and he told me exactly what he thought it was and that the cost would be the trip charge plus the cost of parts, and he knew how much the parts cost. This was different from every other company where the person answering the phone knew nothing about refrigerators and "of course we can't really give you an estimate until we see the problem but we can send a technician out for a $70.00 trip charge and he can diagnose the problem", which is not an estimate at all but an exhorbitant charge for an estimate.. Capital Appliance Repair scheduled the work to be done exactly when I needed it and the repairman was extremely knowledgable and even taught refrigerator repair at a community college. He explained that we had two separate problems, neither of which required a part. He fixed both problems--the ice maker had become unplugged and the drain hole had frozen solid forcing water to come out of the air flow hole into the refrigerator. He told us how to fix it again if it every happened again. He was here for over an hour waiting for the drain hole to defrost but the total charge for the visit was just the trip charge because no parts were involved. I LOVE THESE GUYS. THEY'RE GREAT!
