Best HVAC experience with a company and field technician.

The technician was very informative, professional and prompt. He was able to get the unit working very quickly and explained the issues and the cost up front. The service fee was only 29.00 which seems to be much cheaper than other places. He also recommended some things to help keep the unit running well.

I had an Angies deal for this service. Dave who serviced my system seemed very knowledgeable and answered all my questions.

Technician was prompt courteous and efficient. Took his time while cleaning and diagnosing units and did an extremely thorough job.

Arrived on time, were very professional and answered all questions. Were neat and tidy adfter each day and assured all was clean. Were concerned on the landscape and minimized the damage to the shrubs. Estimated 3 days, did it in 2. Overall a satisfied customer.

For 49.99 they came and did the tune-up. Our conditioner is fairly old so he told us about a part we may want to watch. We went ahead and replaced it while he was here for $171. Then we also ordered the yearly service contract which includes 2 full tune-ups one on ac in springs and one on furnace in the fall for $189.00. Technician was fantastic and explained everything and even showed us. Excellent customer service by Air Experts!

Air Experts did a very good job with the installation of our HVAC unit. One of the installers that installed the unit in the attic installed the unit for the downstairs about 2.5 years ago, so I know he's been doing installations for awhile, which is a good thing. They do a great job of follow up after the installation to make sure everything went well and everything is working like it should.

A/C stopped cooling over the weekend. Bought the $29 deal for someone to come out to the house. They had two business days to contact me but I called them the 2nd morning and they scheduled an appt for that same day after work. Bobby was waiting when I got home and within 15min, he had identified the problem and replaced the capacitor with the a/c running cool immediately. Cost included the $29 deal. I would definitely use them again.

The technician arrived about 10 mins early which was very impressive, given other vendors that usually give a 6 hour window, only to arrive at the last 10mins of the window. He was very efficient and and answered all my questions in detail while also offering other information that I didn't think to ask but was definitely good to know.

They contacted me over the weekend by e-mail to ask me to call for an appointment. I made the call this morning and because of a cancellation a service representative was able to make it over this afternoon. He was polite, clean and efficient. He went about his job looking at the air conditioner as well as at the vents and the thermostat. He took his shoes off when he came in the house. He was as polite as could be and he knew what he was doing. He was done in an hour.

We ended up not using Air Experts for two reasons: 1) Price: We had estimates from five different companies (all the top companies on Angies List) and even though they told us that they had a price match gurantee when we sent them the quote we received from another company they then indicated that they were not willign to match that price. 2) Pushyness: I felt completely badgered by the salessman. As soon as he realized we had quotes from other comnpanies he was insistant the other companies were all incorrect in every aspect of their assesment and said that if I went with anyone else I was pretty much crazy. In one of his emails he said " Its really sad when people put their trust in a company that is supposed to know what they are doing". I really believe that a company shoudl buil a consumer base on it's product and service not on it's ability to critize its competition...

Called Air Experts and explained the problem. I think Marjorie or Michelle told me about the coupon on Angie's List. Technician, Matt, came out the next day and determined the almost 30 year old Lennox Pulse furnace wasn't worth fixing......in fact, this model had been recalled as unsafe by Lennox between 1995 and 2005, I think. If the former home owner had been aware of the recall, Lennox would have replaced the furnace during that period. In any case, Air Experts responded right away, advised me not to waste money on repairs and recommended replacing the system. Anticipated replacement would be required this year. Was happy to pay $29 instead of $89 for the service call. Air Experts did replace both my furnace and air conditioner. Will review the replacement/installation shortly. Am very satisfied with Air Experts Heating and Cooling and would recommend them for diagnostic, repair and maintenance.

Air Experts were called out to look at our upstairs system, as soon as the outdoor temperatures started hitting 90 F this year the system was not able to cool effectively. Matt came to diagnose and he was very professional, basically the story goes, system needs topping up freon, which means there must be a leak in the system (aircon systems apparently should never leak), at this point you are faced with a decision, do you attempt to repair the leak and top up the freon or get a new system. Costs to repair the leak start at $175 just for diagnosis and depending on what is found can go over $1000, then to recharge the system with Freon means all up your bill can run to as much as $2000. And after paying all of that your system is not guaranteed and there is a risk that this is not a long term fix. Since this is the second time I heard this story and my upstairs system has not been very effective for over a year, I decided to change out the entire system. The Project Manger/Sales rep, Dave immediately scheduled a call to come and see me the next day, he is a nice guy, walked me through the mass of options ( the choices when replacing the system are over whelming, so really I had to put your faith in Dave and let hime guide me on the best decision). After finally deciding on best system for the job, Dave said he could get installed the very next day. I confess I was skeptical at first, but next day crew turned up and installed the system. all done by 3:30pm The two guys that installed did a great job not easy lugging those heavy systems in and out of the attic, they were very polite very professional. Overall, I was very impressed with Air Experts, their staff our very friendly, they gave me a price with no hidden extras, 10 year warranty, installed the very next day, very professional and good follow up. oh...,and the new system is working wonderfully. I recommend this company.

He told us that he would need to determine where the leak is and that given the late hour he would need to come back. We told him that we were going out of town in a few days and that, if possible, it would be great to have it taken care of before we left. Although he could not guarantee that it would be possible to repair the AC before we left, he promised to call us to let us know whether or not he would be able to return within the next couple of days. He never called and so, for the bargain price of $30, I now know that my AC isn't working. I understand that time is money - but in this case it was both my time and money that was wasted. I gave a grade of C since the service rep did show up for the initial inspection - however, the lack of follow-up is unprofessional.

During the inspection, the tech found that the igniters were not performing efficiently and needed maintenance. He provided a quote and then performed the maintenance immediately. He was professional and courteous and got the job done with complete satisfaction.

Technician very nice and performed diagnostic but I was not prepared for the purchase of a new system. Asked for us to reconnect in a month or two. I called back in early May to continue the process; it took two calls to reach the technician who told me to take pics of my air handler and send to his cell phone which I did. He did not acknowledge receipt so a week later I called the office and told them I had not heard from him. The receptionist said he was going into an appointment but she would have him call me. I never heard from him so I again texted him to ask if he had received my pics; again no response. I called the office again and got their answering machine which said "leave a message and we will return your call in 15 mins." It has been two more days and still no response so I have now contacted another highly rated Angie's List vendor who was very glad to take my call and schedule a visit to prepare for the purchase and installation of a new unit with them.

We've had our A/C units fixed and tuned up several times, and I found Air Experts (or this specific tech) to be very good about explaining to us how our system worked and what to do in the future with our system. I was happy with the work and would call them again.

I purchased Angie's List deals for tune-up of my heating and air conditioning. Curtis arrived on time and give me a clear explanation of what he was going to do (without being at all condescending). I certainly got my money's worth and more! He did a wonderful job, even including cleaning up around my unit outside. I liked my service so much that I signed up for the scheduled twice yearly service. When I was told the cost of the service, I was uncertain because I am new to the area and did not know what other companies charged. But I signed up nonetheless only to find out afterwards that the price is very, very reasonable. I could not be more pleased with my experience.

It went very well. I found them to be very responsive and dependable. I highly recommend them.

He quoted me a price to replace the compressor but advised that I would need an entire new unit in the near future. In order to replace the compressor I would have to pay $2852.00. A totally new unit would cost anywhere from $4,000-$5,000. He did say that I could get financing to repair or replace the unit. I decided that I did not want to go into debt to get the unit either repaired or replaced. The man was professional and sympathetic but I simply could not afford to go into debt at this time. I determined to use ceiling fans and added some floor fans to supplement them until I was able to replace the unit. I have used Air Experts for several years and they have always been punctual, helpful, professional and their prices have always been reasonable. Unfortunately this time I was not prepared for the cost.

It turned out perfectly. We were selling our house, so we wanted a service report and to make sure everything checked out. The gentleman that came out was excellent & very friendly. He was on time and explained everything.
