They had to special order a hot water heater, so the price was higher than typical. The man that I worked with, Donovan, was very good. He did a good job, they had to make a special tray and various things so it was a little bit time consuming.

On budget, on time, clean and responsive to our needs.  There when they said they would be there.  No request was too much for them.  Additional work was quoted on the spot.  They are an approved contractor for our power company and took care of all the rebate details, recommending where we could save money on our utility bills.  We will definitely use CPI on our upcoming remodel and will highly recommend them to others who can use their services.

Donavaughn came out after I asked him to give me an estimate. Let me say up front the Gentleman is a real professional. He listened intently to what me wife and I were looking for. He asked pertinent questions. He then gave us a quote. He also gave  me a 10% discount for my military service. Donavaughn was timely and very efficient with his work. He finished the job way before the deadline. The result was at the completion of the job, I knew this was money well spent.

In June of 2005, the third plumber i had scheduled canceled out the Friday before the inpsectors were to come Tuesday. I had company coming in a week. I sat in the kitchen floor and cired, then got the yellow pages and started going through the alphabet. Most calls resulted in voicemail; all said they were busy for the upcoming Ladies' Open at Pinehurst. I got to the "c"s and called CPI. Donovan answered personally. heard the distress in my voice and said. "Are you all right?" I explained the situation; he said "We'll be right there." He and his assistant did show up; assess the situation, came back at 5PM that evening, dug in the dirt, promised to finish it Saturday. They did. It passed inpsection and we moved in in time for company. They are not prompt to the minute (depending on other emergencies) but they keep their promises and their work has never failed. Donovan has recommended other workmen to me when I couldn't find anyone, and they have all been reliable. They even showed up at 8PM on a FRiday in 2006 to finish a toilet, as promised, in the room that was to be my mother's; she was moving down that Sunday. They had had to drive to Fayetteville at the last minute to pick up a part they had been waiting for because a company had not delivered it to them in time. I would have paid them almost anything at that point, but they have always seemed reasonable to me. I will never use anyone else unless Donovan himself recommends them.
