Agreed on a price to cut down 11 trees. He was 1,100.00 higher that another estimate but went with Tim as he had done prior work and did a great job about 4-5 years ago. He cut price 500.00 if I paid cash, which I did. My health is now poor and I needed a turn key job. I do not have ability to work in yard. So I paid extra money as he had done good work last time. He cut down med-large trees no problem. Once trees were cut he used a bobcat to cleanup. Used no chipper as he did last time. My yard has bob cat track marks everywhere upon completion and was left muddy. He made no effort to rake tracks or fix in any way. He mangled small trees using bobcat and verbally agreed to cut those and remove. He ultimately did not do this, leaving more than 10 small trees that were mangled. He ran over and hit a landscaping wall with bob cat. He placed bricks back on wall but wall needs to be rebuilt as is now uneven, unlevel and just jacked up. He asked if he could leave small sticks and small debris in woods and I agreed. But, he left logs he had cut and brush piles in woods, visible from road this time of year. Another thing included in agreed price was to rake area around stumps and cut stumps close to ground level. Most were done like this. Few were left over a foot high. One near road looks like a table sitting in yard. I also have a gravel driveway I recently added 7.5 yards of gravel to and had smoothed out. Currently there are ruts and mud in uneven driveway. I will have to get smoothed out again. Tim made no effort to fix this. My driveway pad was left covered in mud and wood debris. I had to clean. Lots of mud clots were left on road in front of my home. I have stage 4 cancer and my back is in bad shape. I paid $600.00 more to Tim as he had done a great job a few years ago. I don't have the physical ability to work like I have my whole life. In the hiring process spoke of "doing things right," "people don't do good work these days and I wouldn't want to be paid unless work is right." Words like that plus previous work and I was hooked. He also had asked me to pay him on day two saying he would be done by days end. I assumed he would finish and clean up as he had the first time. I was wrong and mistakenly paid him. I did this to save him a trip from Pikeville to my home. That was stupid on my part. He had mentioned he was semi-retired now. I think when he retired, his work ethic retired as well. I am disappointed in Tim. He left us with a mess to clean up while I paid him more based on his reputation. Prior to picking up his equipment he asked how it looked and I responded I had not seen in light of day. The next day, he got his equipment and left without speaking to me as I was working from home. Once I saw, I waited 2 days to message as to be objective. I advised of issues, said we would clean up. Never heard another word from Tim. His word is no good. His work was pitiful. If you come in contact, don't believe what he says. He left my home looking like a war zone. I feel I was taken. I will never trust a worker again, even if they have worked for me before. People obviously change. He certainly did. I would not hire this man.

Tim came out and looked at everything and said that he could do it later that day. I then thought to myself, he's got the job, he doesn't need to tell me things like that. Well, to my surprise he came back a few hours later, with his great workers and removed the stumps and concrete. One stump was very close to my deck and he took every precaution not to hurt the deck. When he finished, which was after sundown, everything was perfect. All the debris was cleaned and everything looked as if there was not a tree ever there. I will have to say I was amazed at how hard they worked and how quick they made things happen. After dealing with three no shows and one that made me wait all afternoon and he never showed, Tim's group was a breath of fresh air. He has great workers and I see that they learned that from him. For once I had someone to tell me the truth and then back it up. In the service industry that is few and far between.

I hired Tim to turn a heavily wooded area behind my rural home into a more landscaped natural forest. He spent three days with several workers doing selective clearing, trimming and brush - tree removal. The property looks like a park; they did a fine job. No games, no gimmicks, no arguments, price paid was what was agreed to. A job well done!

He and his crew did a great job taking out several trees and stumps in my yard. His crew showed up on time and cleaned up well after their work. I would definitely use again!

Tim came as promised to give us a quote on an investment property we have 25mins away from our home. We said we'd like him to do the job and he told us that as he was already working in the area that day, he'd try to come back later.  He called at 4:30 and said he was at the property, doing the work and would call again 20 mins before he finished so we could meet him out there and pay him. They were just cleaning up when we got there. Tim and his crew did a great job and were very efficient and professional.  Recommend him to anyone and would use him again.
