Parker, Chris and Tim did an excellent job with all tasks during the time they said they would do it. Plus they cleaned it all up nicely. They were all friendly, polite and removed their shoes at the door. This was the second time we have used this company's services, 8 years apart, on the same tasks and we have been very pleased with their service both times.

Grout Medic just finished regrouting our tile in the kitchen and two upstairs bathrooms. I was fairly pleased with the downstairs grout but I'm very unhappy about the upstairs bathrooms. 1) Hall bathroom: several spots had missing grout. I pointed the spots out and GM re-patched the next day. So, that was a happy ending. 2) Master bathroom floor tile installation and shower floor/wall grout: -First issue: they didn't cover any of my personal belongings when they started the work. They didn't ask us to move anything either. So, I assumed they were going to cover everything before they start. I was wrong. When I walked into the bathroom at the end of the day - all my toothbrushes, combs, hair products, hair dryer, hair straightener, towels, clothes - EVERYTHING - was covered in dust. I contacted the owner, and complained. They did clean up the next day but it's just common sense that no customer would be happy to find all their bathroom toiletries covered in dust. 2) Second issue: On the last day in the master bathroom, they reinstalled the toilet (they removed it to install the new tile). At lunchtime, I noticed a water bubble on the kitchen ceiling, right in the spot where the toilet is upstairs (which they had just reinstalled). I pointed it out to them but they kept insisting that they didn't cause the leak (we had no other contractors in the house, didn't use the master bathroom in the entire time they were working on it and had stopped using that bathroom altogether a few weeks prior to the remodel because the grout was worn out and I didn't want to risk causing any mold issue). They didn't do anything about the leak, didn't offer to fix it for us, and left. When I emailed the owner asking if they can send in a plumber to see if the contractors, in fact, installed the toilet properly, there was no further response from the owner (Bruce Lane). I had to call multiple plumbers to find someone who could come in and take a look ASAP. I finally found one who came in, reinstalled the toilet, caulked the base of the toilet, cut part of the wet ceiling, made sure there was no more water leaking, and left. Now I have a huge hole in my kitchen, part of the ceiling still wet because plumbers don't remove all of your wet ceilings (just enough to investigate) nor repair the ceilings. I'm expecting a water damage restoration company tomorrow to cut the rest of the wet sheetrock, dry the wood, and repair and paint the ceiling. 3) Third issue: my husband just took a shower in the newly-grouted master bathroom. After showering, we noticed huge cracks in the grout. There is absolutely no grout in some spots, and the shower is wet. Great recipe for mold! I had emailed Bruce my pictures of the missing grout, but he hasn't yet responded. (picture of the newly grouted shower which already has cracks is attached) 4) Fourth issue: they don't wear any shoe covers. I had to ask them to not walk on our carpet with their shoes on. Some complied, but every day somebody new would appear at the house and walk with their dusty/dirty shoes on my already old carpet that I'm trying my best to maintain clean. 3) Fifth issue: They don't provide any materials which is a huge inconvenience for full-time working folks. You are expected to run to Home Depot after work and buy tile/floor molding. To reiterate, GROUT MEDIC has been a NIGHTMARE. I hope this helps someone who is choosing a grout/tile repair contractor.

The Grout Medic staff arrived on time. The three team members, in particular "Tim", were very professional and knowledgeable in all aspects of the task at hand. The complete set of tasks for the Master Bath was completed on time with all work professionally done. ---- This Master Bath and Hall Bath work effort is our second major contract with Grout Medic. The Grout Medic was great coordinating with my schedule, and Zach and Parker did a wonderful job in all three bathrooms. They were right on time, thorough in their work and very knowledgable. They had a good eye for details and managed to remove the shower enclosure with no trouble or fuss. They also left the bathrooms clean (remarkable, given the work they were doing) and left me with clear instructions to follow. Happy to work with them and The Grout Medic anytime.

The Grout Medic did an excellent job on this. The estimate was very detailed and through and Jessy Galdamez did a very careful and meticulous job. We especially wanted to minimize damage to recently painted surrounding walls and there was none. They also provided good tips on cleaning and maintenance of the tile. We learned the surprising fact that it's best to avoid harsh chemicals and bleach which over time can destroy the grout. Instead we now use vinegar and water, or one of the 'green' cleaners for all tile, countertops, and marble backsplash areas. They are a great company to work with; our 20+ year-old shower looks brand new!

The tech, Jason Johnson and helper showed up on time and did a great job re-doing some of the floor grout and caulking certain areas. This was a relatively small job, but the estimator showed up on time...great communication and very happy with entire process.....

I found The Grout Medic at the Home Show in Raleigh in early, 2019. I received a prompt appointment conducted by Bruce where he evaluated what needed to be done to restore the grout in our master bath. He clearly explained what issues he discovered in his inspection, options for repair and pricing. We received an estimate that same day. We booked the job and were so pleased with the process and results that we had The Grout Medic come back and color seal the tile in our other two bathrooms. I am beyond pleased with the improvement in the look of the bathrooms and I also feel that replacing missing grout has saved us from costly water and mold damage in the future. The team of Chris, Tim and Jim were very professional and answered our questions and gave clear time frames for the work as well as after-care of the work. I would, and already have, highly recommend The Grout Medic for your home repair project.

My shower looked awful before. I never knew (since the builder didn't tell us) that the tiles weren't sealed and needed to be done, otherwise we would have done it! My wife and I tried and tried to no avail to get the shower clean. Finally we called in the professionals. Our shower looks like new again. Very pleased!

Jessy showed up on time and started to work, he explained that our shower head was leaking which was causing a dark area on our tiles. He did a wonderful job and made sure to cover our shower head so that it would not drip while it was drying. He was very courteous and knowledgeable. We will definetly be calling them again for all of our tile needs.

Greg Underhill, the estimator, was very professional yet friendly and prepared a fair quote for the work required. The job was conducted by Jim. He was very nice, professional, and did outstanding work. He didn't try to hurry thru the project but was very meticulous with his work, cleaned up afterwards, and took time to review the details for proper maintenance of our floor. I would definitely hire these folks again!
