Came out on time, didn't destroy yard with heavy truck tires. pumped it in no time, explained how to maintain system, pointed out a broken distribution pipe that I wanted to repair (DIY) Showed my root infiltration issues, recommended what to do, tested the system before leaving for leaks and operation and cleaned up on departure.

I have tried a few different companies that were okay to bad. I called them because we were having problems with our pump. We also needed to have our tank cleaned out. The installed a new pump and also cleaned out the tank very quickly. It was a good overall experience with this company and I will use them again.

Called and discussed price and set up appointment.
Company came out - had to dig to uncover access to septic tank. They pumped out the tank, replaced the cover and replaced the soil over the access cover.
They also opened and inspected the pump tank.
They were very careful to minimize impact on the yard with their equipment.

Bobby Davis Septic Tank Service were very helpful. They came and did their job. It was great. They were great all around. They responded to me quickly and were very thorough and informative about the process. They did what they were supposed to do. I didn't have to worry about it. It was quick and easy.

I contacted Bobby Davis septic tank service a couple of weeks
ago and asked they clean out my septic system when ever they
are out my way...no hurry.
Unfortunately I had to leave town for 10 days and had forgotten
about the service I requested. Upon returning I found they left
me a voice mail to ask if I had the tank pumped out. I chacked
and found they had not done the job FOR GOOD REASON. I had
forgotten I had my deck expanded since the last pump out and
the cover was now partially covered by the deck. It was not
possible to open it without cutting away some of the lattice. I
called Bobby and told him I was sorry for having his crew come
out without me here and the fact the job could not be done until
I trimmed the bushes back, cut out some of the lattice to make
the cover accessible.
I found that my system was much worse than I thought and was
about to overflow. Bobby said they would be back out in the
morning to pump it out. They did pump it out and checked the
system. They found my pump had died and was not moving the
contents out. This is the 4th pump in 15 years ! The last time I
had the pump put in by a different company it was put in wrong.
Bobby suggested I put in a 1/2 hp pump as the one in there was
too small for us. He made perfect sense in what he was saying.
He is coming out later today to install it.
The thing that struck me was that I had the system pumped out
and a new pump ( not 1/2 hp ) put in 6 years ago and the pump
was put in wrong. The cost 6 years ago was more than it cost me
this time. I will be using Bobby Davis septic tank service from
now on. I also will be having my system pumped out every 3 years
as we should instead of letting it go so long.

He offered that while they could come out and try to find one, I could contact Wake Co Environmental Resources for free, and they should be able to tell me if I have a septic tank. He offered the phone number to call.
(If you call Wake Co -- be persistent. The first person I talked to told me that if I get a water bill, I have city sewer. This is not necessarily true. I called back, and the next person I talked to took my information and is going to do a search, which takes 3-5 days.)
I appreciate that he didn't set up a service call, and instead directed me to a free resource. It speaks well of his honesty and professionalism. If we do have one, I plan to use this company for the pumping.

We had to reschedule once because they were busy, but there was no emergency so no problem. They pumped the tank and cleaned the filter. They even showed me how to clean the filter to keep everything running well.

Talked to Bobby Davis on Wednesday to setup coming out on Friday. He stated would call Friday morning to let me know when they would be coming. At 11am still had not heard from them. Called and left message to call me ASAP with ETA? Noone called back so at 11:30 called another company. Then called and left second message to cancel service call. Got a call right back, but they had not even listened to the previous messages. Will not do business with them.

Complications do arise on occasions with other jobs and it takes longer to complete causing delays with the truck getting to the next job, as was the case here. Thats the reason we tell each customer that the driver will call when they know an approximate time for arrival at each individual job. At the time of our return call to you, we had no notification of a pending voicemail from you and called back based on our missed call log on the phone. Again, we are sorry you were dissatisfied with the service. We do take pride in our work ethics as it is evident in all the positive reviews we have here and in other places. We are glad to hear that you were able to get your tank pumped by one of our fellow pumpers and avoid any further inconvenience to you."

Our rating for this service is based on the fact that even though we had a difficult time getting our septic tank cleaned on a property we are buying, this company did what was necessary to make it right, which means a lot to us and we would definitely call them again.

/it was wonderful---they arrived when they said they would--in the morning and were finished by 3----they replaced the old lines and put in new ones and replaced the tank---they were quick, neat and very professional---

Excellent service! This is our first home with a septic system so I had a lot of questions. The technician was professional, and patiently answered all of my questions. We will definitely use Bobby Davis Septic service again for our future needs.
