We started to go to Sea Breeze Family Practice because our long-time FNP had started working there. She left rather abruptly, leaving us with very little choice but to continue seeing other practitioners there. I have been fairly happy with the care from the nurse practitioners; however, the staff and office administration is horrible. I had blood work done, was told to call on a certain day to receive the results. I called, and got their voicemail (which is always the case, whether you are making an appointment or calling in for a refill) - and waited. And waited. And waited. Finally, after four days of waiting for a returned phone call, I called back and (quite by accident) managed to get the hall nurse. She still put me off for another two days. I have had trouble getting appointments; when I call in the morning for an appointment, I have to leave my info on the voicemail and hope that they will get back to me by close of business that day. I don't work near a telephone, and if I'm not nearby, and I do get a call back, they leave a message - and I call, get the voicemail, and off we go again. This, while their advertisements state "same day appointments available". I wonder how that works out.
