They were great to deal with. Gave a reasonable quote, did exactly what they said they would, and the crew completed it all in one day. They were very professional and did a great job, start to finish. I highly recommend them for roofing work.

It went really well, they gave us an estimate, and they finished the work in two days! They also took care of my mothers hail damage and worked with the insurance company. Everything turned out great!

The service was great, I would definitely use this company again. I was not able to stay at home and wait for the tech to come out and inspect the problem but they were willing to call me and give me a heads up before the they came out to my house, definitely much appreciated. Overall a good experience and the price was reasonable as well.

Sean was a joy to deal with. From beginning to end he was there for us. He was our advocate while dealing with our insurance adjuster. With his knowledge and the integrity that is obvious, he worked with a very difficult adjuster and got our damaged roof replaced. I can not thank him enough for this alone. We had three additional roofing quotes but Sean's proactive approach truly won us over. Sean sat with us and helped us with the choices of roofing materials explained the entire process. We choose a Owens Corning product which simply looks amazing. He knew exactly what would work on our hose and can not believe the transformation. The team works very hard and very fast. There were a few very minor hiccups but Sean made sure everything was attended to and fixed. After the installation an inspection was performed and if anything needed to be redone it is addressed. The warranty of workmanship is comforting as this business has been around for 20 years. We couldn't be more pleased with race City Roofing.

I called several roofing companies for estimates. Race City Roofing came in with an estimate within $200 of our adjuster's estimate so that along with my favorable interview with one of the owners led me to hire them to replace the roof on one of our properties. They arrived on time and dealt with a demanding tenant in a professional and accommodating manner. The job was completed on time and except for a brand new, beautiful roof, I would never know they had been there. The grounds showed no evidence of a roof replacement and all debris was picked up and hauled away. I heartily recommend them for any roof job.

They installed a new roof in one day. Everyone from the estimate to the jobs completion was extremely professional, courteous, and very pleasant to deal with. They did exactly what they said they would, when they said they would do it, and even finished in less time than they estimated. I would definitely use them again and strongly recommend them to anyone needing roofing services.

Race City Roofing did a Great job. The two owners/estimators were very easy to talk to and I didn't feel like I was getting run over by a truck like a few of the other companies that I had called . The workers put tarps down to protect our plants and trees.  They moved all of my furniture out of the way that could get damaged from falling debris. The foreman understood my concerns and addressed them.  Nothing was damaged or hurt.  All the work crew seemed to enjoy roofing.  There was singing and laughing as they worked.  The job took 2 days and at the end of the first day everything was cleaned up and stacked up next to the dumpster in the driveway.   The crew showed up early the next morning to finish the job. At the end of the day when the roof was finished, magnets were wheeled everywhere in the yard to pick up nails.  This worked very well and I think I have only found about 10 nails under shrubs in the flower beds.  When the dumpster was picked up the following monday, the yard looked just like it did before the job was started. The owners came by the following week to get paid.  No problems or worries.  Overall, the roofs look great and I would and have recommended Race City Roofing to neighbors and friends. The coupon on Angie's List helped too.

I was really happy with the fact that they gave me a 10 year warrenty on work - but when it leaked again after the 1st storm, they came right back out to work again, try a different way (sealing the brick) and it worked.  They also had no charge on the 2nd attempt which made me really happy.

Race City Roofing went above and beyond my expectations. They were very professional, responsive and thorough. They made suggestions to better the life of the roof. They were on time and had the roof removed and installed in a day and a half. Their price was very reasonable based on the amount of roof that had to be replaced. I will definitely used them again when there is a need.

We got estimates from 3 local companies.  David and Michael from Race City Roofing came over to do the estimate one day after we called.  They were thorough and polite, and provided a competitive quote on the spot.  Their quote was comparable to one other local Angies List roofer, but 35 percent less than BTR, another Angies List roofer/home improvement company.  (Please see related review on BTR.)  A couple of days later, we called and committed the job to Race City.  A few days later, the crew came over and did the whole job in one long day.  They were also polite and professional.  The clean-up went well, which can be a big issue with a roof job.  David and Michael came over the next day to settle up.  I expressed some very minor concerns which they addressed right away.  I highly recommend Race City Roofing if you're in need of a roof or related repair.  An added bonus is that they've been around since the mid-1990s, and offer a 10-year labor warranty with their work.  Highly recommended. 

The fachia tore away from the house during a windstorm.  You could see where it was going to cause more damage as it was hanging on by a nail but blowing back and forth (plus being a possible projectile in the storm that was due in that night).
I called Race City in the morning and the guy swung by at the end of his day. 
Even though I wasn't really on the schedule and he was done with his day, he took the time to put it all back in order.
He DID NOT have to do that.  Many companies would have given me the estimate and had someone come out on a regular schedule.
I love it when a company goes above and beyond.  It's no wonder they have an A rating with Angie.
Not sure what the going rate is for that 15 minute job, but his professionalism and willingness to fit me in...I was willing to pay the price.  Plus, knowing that company had an A rating, I also knew that putting that facia back together on the spur of the moment...if it was wrong, I could call them back.  But he did it correctly and you can't even tell where it was ripped away.

Race City Roofing was the Best experience in roofing we have ever had!  They met us on time, gave us a great estimate, had the shingles delivered the same day and completed the job all in one day! The Quality of the work was outstanding, we love our roof! Clean up was done as the job was being worked the crew was Top Notch! They really care about the work they do! I  choose another company to do the actual work but I was pleased with the prompt and profession manner with which they handled my estimate.   I called them because they had done work in my neighborhood.

First of all, their initial inspection was very thorough, and they listened to my concerns.. They told me exactly what needed attention and what didn't.Very smoothly and very fast. Did exactly as they had promised and even repaired damaged spots they came upon, for no extra charge. First class materials and craftsmanship; they are very professional.

Race City Roofing arrived right on time and begin removing the old roof. They completed the back of the house in one day. When they left at the end of the day the yard was spotless, they had removed every scrap of the old roof, collected all the old nails and removed all the paper and plactic from the tile bundles. They came back the next and completed the job. The owner came out each day to check and make sure everything was in order and we were happy with their work. I could not have asked for a better experience getting a new roof installed.

I have used them for a couple of repairs, and they have done outstanding work. The roof has not leaked anymore. They were prompt, and their price was very reasonable. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

They were very couteous and punctual . They were very prompt getting back to me, fixed the items promptly and were very courteous.

I had initially contacted Race City Roofing on 11/22 to request an estimate. They were very responsive and David and Michael came out first thing the very next morning to look at the problem. They were able to quickly identify the problem as well as make the repair right then on the spot in less than an hour. They were both very professional, courteous and straightforward/honest. Although I just needed a minor repair, based on my experience, I would highly recommend this company. They will be the first one's I call if/when I have any other roofing work that needs to be done. Just as an FYI, they do not accept credit cards and have a $150 minimum charge to perform any work.

From start to finish the process was flawless, The sales support was excellant - Every detail was explained to my understanding. The delivery of materials was made on time - work started on time and was finished one half day ahead of schedule. The work crew was a well oiled machine. I've not seen the standard of work on other houses in the neighborhood. I watched one home take 5.5 days. Mine was less than three. My house was equivelant to the 5.5 day job. The materials were picked up as the workers were idle who were feeding materials to the roofers. The sales support team came back out to review all work, cleaing. Several passes of metal detectors or sweepers were used. We found NO shingle tacks anywhere in drive-way. We found less than a dozen so close to house in mulch. We could not believe it..... We sat down with sales support team again. Signed all the paper work. Extremley happy with results. Our roof is the best in the neighborhood.

Provided a quote the day after I called. Recommended by a co-worker who had her roof replaced. Took two days to strip and replace roof. They built a cricket behind the chimney without asking for it. Gave a ten year guarantee on the roof. Crew was very good about clean up. They did leave dumpster blocking garage for an extra day.They have been in business for 16 years.

Excellent work. They did a thorough analysis of cost. At the end of each day they do a good job of cleaning up. There was some minor issue that came up but they stood by their work and fixed it to my satisfaction. I would use them again with no hesitation.

We are new homeowners in this area and had major leaks coming through our living room wall next to our fireplace after big storm in August. Dave and Michael came right out and fixed the roofing issue. The wall continued to leak, but because they said they would stand by their work and did so, they found other leaks not related to the roof. When we thought it may have still been the roof leaking (but was not) they did not hesitate for one second to come out on several occasions right away to make sure their work was not the problem. Very professional, stands by their work, try to help people and not just make money and we would HIGHLY recommend them.
