He worked well with the other contractors and adjusted his schedule to line up with their work. The kitchen remodel turned out great. We are very happy. Don and his small crew did a great job!
Description of Work: We worked with Don Shreve on a kitchen remodel in the Huntersville area. He helped us with our design, in an attempt to optimize the space we have. We ordered our cabinets from Lowe's and Don installed the cabinets, re-routed outlets and installed new outlets where needed, re-routed plumbing, installed trim moulding, built a new waist-high countertop around our sink area. worked with our countertop installer and flooring contractor.

+ -1 moreDon has been working in our home since January of '06. This was a project that went wrong from a former contractor. Don is a perfectionist and I don't use that term loosely. He takes his time and cares about his work. I'll be honest, he comes with a nice price tag, but it is well worth it from what we've been through. I know when he's finished it will be perfect. He thinks each project out thoroughly before proceeding and his work is phenomenal. He is extremely detail oriented and will leave no loose ends to any project. He has everything down to a science. If you are like us, we want perfection. Not to be difficult, but you want it done right for the money you spend. Don does not start another project without finishing the first, so he doesn't get side-tracked. Our home is in the price range of $450-500 just for reference. One of the most honest people in this business we've ever met. He's very friendly, respectful and gets lots of attention from our pets. Always calls you back.
Description of Work: Re-frame two kitchen windows approximately 4'X6'. Installed four skylights, constructed two door archways, corrected kitchen cabinets that had been incorrectly installed by another company, built pony wall and prepared kitchen for cabinet install which also included building corner bracing for corner double wall oven, installed industrial style porch ceiling which consisted of cutting and place riveted tin sheets interlocking, drywall, some electrical box placement.
