Carpentry Framing - Repair
My husband hired Mr. Sands to replace our wood door in our ~20 year old Shea Home. Mr. Sands was very nice. It took several months for the right door size to come in (which is somewhat understandable post covid). In the meantime, Mr. Sands had an accident apparently where he fell off a ladder; our prayers were with him. But instead of hiring a subcontractor or alerting us that he could not complete the job, he supervised two of his family members in the installation at our home. Our door is functional, however, the work is still incomplete; his company never returned to re-install the blinds that he had taken down. In fact, although he was very responsive for months and received all of our money quickly, he has since ghosted my husband. Very disappointed in this lack of professionalism. Would not hire again despite his seeming to be a personable guy. In this industry, it is not how you start off a project, but how long you take to complete it and how you end it.

Mike was on time and responded quickly. He reviewed his assessment of my repair with me, explaining details of the garage door that would help me solve small issues in the future. He was easy to talk with and was very knowledgeable. He handles all types of work besides just garage doors and I would recommend him to friends and neighbors.
