I am well satisfied with the veterinarians and the office staff are so very helpful and friendly. The cost is high.

We have been taking our pets here since we moved to the area in 2009. We have 2 dogs, and a cat and over the years, many foster dogs. Plus they helped us through the death of another dog. The staff (everyone) is always professional. Always helpful. When our animals have been ill. we have found the staff to be empathetic and caring. The vets do not push expensive tests or procedures. The plan for management is talked over with us and we agree on how to proceed. One of our dogs who needs thyroid treatment and a geriatric cat who needs a comprehensive medical plan. A third dog has joined the family and will be going for his check-up this week. In short, we trust Monroe Animal Hospital.

My pets have died and I haven't been to Monroe Animal Hospital for a while. But, when I was going to them they were excellent; the doctors and nurses are just excellent. But they are a little pricey. It's just like taking your child to the doctor.

I go there because Dr. is a total cat person. She has got a lot of diabetic cats. Every twelve hours shots have to given to my cat. She is the only reason my cat is alive. It is a huge commitment. They are helpful. I would use them in the future.

After a disastrous experience with Banfield and being forced to leave a vet we had been with for 12 years (we followed from private practice), my mom and I had to find a new practice for our 15 animals (14 dogs, 1 cat - all rescues). We visited Monroe Animal Hospital in April and were given a tour of their hospital by Jennifer. She was wonderful and took the time to answer all of our questions. Since then, we have been there numerous times and could not be more satisfied. The entire staff is professional and courteous, both Dr. McGarry and Dr. Luckey are wonderful with all of our animals, and the practice's use of technology (email, online records, requests for appointments, prescription refills, etc) is both convenient and refreshing. Several of our animals have had severe anxiety issues in the past when visiting the vet or meeting new people, but have had no problems with this team. We also have had chronic health problems (diabetes, hypothyroidism, epilepsy, severe allergies) and I am confident that they are all receiving the best of care. The practice is well-established and they have taken the trouble to be AAHA accredited. It is obvious that the entire team is doing what they love and they all have opened their hearts and homes to multiple animals. We have recently lost one cat to cancer and adopted three kittens (current count - 14 dogs and 3 cats). The support we have received has been incredible and my only regret is that it took us so long to find this practice. We cannot say enough good things about this team - if you are looking for a caring and extremely competent group of professionals to care for your dog(s), cat(s) and/or other pets, you will definitely not find anything better than Monroe Animal Hospital.

They were very accommodating, because some of my pets have emotional issues. Usually, no one can handle my dog, but they did. Their pricing is extremely good, and they give a multi-pet discount. They give a lot of individualized attention to the animals.
