 + -1 moreTommy had explained in detail what he was going to do and how the stones would match and fit. Although we had to be out of town for part of the project with a family emergency he did an excellent job preparing the area where the stone would be set in place. The stone runs from a retaining wall to a wood deck about 13 feet away and with a width of 10 feet. We chose a rough stone with a variety of brown and sand tones to match a deck that was about one foot high off of the ground and stained copper brown. The pattern he put together with the variety of sizes was outstanding. Everything matched perfectly and would couldn't have imagined a better job. When we returned to town we were very happy with the work performed. Overall it took him about half a day to prepare the site and a day to lay the stone. Tommy Withrow was recommended by Syd Vincent at Rosewood Garden Designs who did the landscaping for the project. His work is submitte under his company name.
Description of Work: We purchased the stone for a 10 by 13 area. Stone price $950 but the contractor Tommy Withrow picked it up from the yard. The stone would cover a 10 by 10 foot concrete patio and an 10 by 3 foot area that need to be dug out an filled with concrete. He did all the work preparing the area and even moving the stone from the street by wheelbarrow to the site approximately 75 yards. The stone was in various sizes and he had to lay out the pattern to make it all fit in the total area. He also had to fit stone around an air conditioning unit and a seperate area where wiring enters the house below ground level. His price $850.
