Sales rep. Dennis Baker responded to my request for an estimate on a damaged roof. Per my request, he gave me estimates for both repair of the damaged roof and complete roof replacement. His estimate was a bit higher than two others, but included some features the others ignored. The BTR crew got started within two weeks of a contract being signed. Sooner than estimated. The work was mainly completed in three days, and all wrapped up in less than one week. Clean-up was good, but not great. Roofing nails were found in the driveway (not a good thing) and some debris was left on external masonry sills. The roof looks good and no leaks have been experienced, although we haven't had heavy sustained rains yet. After the work was complete, the sales representative made contact to make sure we were satisfied before a bill was sent.

The president of the company did the estimate! They did all the work above and pulled out two nails left over from the original house construction. The work was done in one day. The crew cleaned up perfectly. I can't ask for better service.

They were really pleasant when we talked on the phone and scheduled an appointment promptly. They came on time and gave me an estimate that was satisfactory. They scheduled the work and came a few days earlier than they had scheduled. The roof doesn't leak anymore but we haven't had any more heavy rains yet but I have no reason to doubt that we did right.

Kevin came out to give me an estimate & it was on of the lowest, cheaper by $1000 or so than some of the others I got. I was able to choose from a wide variety of roof colors. The told me there would be a two week lead time but once I told them I was ready they were able to send a crew out in two days! It took two days for them to rip the old roof off & put the new one on. There was a lot of mess & nails around the house but they managed to clean it up really well. The new roof looks great. Would recommend them to anyone.

I was very pleased with this company. When I initially called for an estimate, Kevin came out to the house within 30 minutes. He was professional and polite. He looked at my damage, gave me a reasonable estimate and the work was done within 2 days.

He did what he said he would do. Thumbs up.

We were so pleased that the owner himself came out and went over all the work done again completion that meant a great deal to us. So glad they honored the $100 coupon in Angie's List.

BTR was one of three Angie's List A rated companies doing roofing that I solicited bids for the work. All three companies responded within two days, and sent very competent representatives. BTR was selected for their overall cost and service estimates. After selected, a problem came up with the supplier of the shingles that could have delayed the work. Kevin worked with them and in order to start the work on time upgraded the materials without charging me for this. The workers were excellent and completed the work in three full days. Although very messing when working, after they finished I could not find one nail. I am completely satisfied with their work. I would recommend BTR to anyone in need of a roof replacement.

I called the company asking for an estimate for roof repair or new roof if needed. They were responsive to my call and came exactly when they said they would. We did need a new roof and they gave us an estimate of the cost to do the work. This seems to be a very good company that does good work.

I gave BTR a call and Kevin came out to inspect my roof within a few days. I received three estimates from highly rated roofers on Angie's List, but BTR provided the lowest estimate. They also thoroughly answered all my questions so I decided to go with BTR. After signing the paperwork BTR had a cancellation and was able to start on my roof a few days later. The job took two days from start to finish. We had no problems and they did a good job cleaning up.

Work not performed. I couldn't even get them here for an estimate! Company was supposed to come at 11. When I called they said my appt. was at 1. So I stayed home till 1. They never came and never called. Very poor customer service to say the least.

After my roof was replaced, so beautifully by BTR Roofing, it became clear that my gutters needed replacing as well. Dennis Baker, of BTR Roofing, came out promptly to access their condition, and recommended a 1st class solution. He also assured me that before the gutters were replaced, a thorough inspection would be done, and that any damaged fascia would be replaced. From my previous experience with Dennis, I knew him as a man of his word, and, I knew any problems would be fixed (not ignored or covered up), and the work would be of the finest quality. My job was scheduled, and in a short time the gutters were replaced. Fortunately, no hidden rot was found. And because BTR Roofing performed the inspection, I have the assurance that none exits. Character is what you do when no one is looking and I found a firm with great character. I searched Angie's List for a roofer and selected BTR Roofing. Dennis Baker, of BTR Roofing, came promptly to assess my roofing needs. His thorough inspection revealed not only roof damage, but water damage extending to chimney and adjacent structures. Instead of ignoring or hiding these problems, BTR extensively documented the problem areas, so that I had the choice to proceed with repair. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to have BTR Roofing repair these problems now; their diligence has saved me money and future grief. They kept me informed of their work schedule and exceeded my expectations on time to completion. Their fine work ethic and workmanship are to be praised. This has been a great experience and I have a warranty as well. Now that the roofs are done, it's clear that the gutters need to be replaced; I have asked them to proceed. Thank you Angie's List. I was able to schedule an appointment for an estimate the day after I called. Dennis Baker called twenty minutes before he arrived to inspect the roof. Mr. Baker took pictures of the roof and he showed me what needed to be repaired. Mr. Baker also provided a detailed written explanation of the repairs to be done. Mr. Baker said the repairs would be done in approximately one week. I am pleased to report, however, Mr. Baker was able to arrange for the repairs to be done just several hours later that same day. Martin, the roofer who performed the repairs was friendly and professional. He also did additional work around the chimney at no extra cost. The final cost for the repairs was the same as the estimate. It was slightly more than 24 hours from the time I called until the time my roof was repaired. The overall experience was excellent.

The work was performed in good fashion. They were attentive to cleaning up each day, removed their truck at night, a lot of roofing companies do not, and it is not only unsightly, but a safety issue on residential streets. We had several small issues. Dennis, the salesman, was very prompt and efficient in his follow up. The gentleman they sent out to do the follow up was excellent, as with any project the success is in the detail and this fellow had it. Overall, very satisfied to date .

They have done a number of jobs for me. They were very nice.

THEY WERE PUNCTUAL AND GOT US IN ALMOST IMMEDIATELY. HE DID A GOOD JOB AND CLEANED UP AFTER HIMSELF. I GOT SEVERAL ESTIMATES AND HIS PRICE WAS FAIR.

It was tough getting someone on the phone to give me straight answers. But that said, the work was good and reasonably priced, and they showed up on time.

After phoning and leaving a message two days for someone to call me back they haven't returned my call.

They were a hard company to get in touch with. I would leave a message with my name and work number and would receive a message at home for my husband. After the estimate we were told to fax back our acceptance and they would give us a start date. Two weeks after faxing our signed estimate back, I still had to leave 2 messages and request a day to start. They were not good about returning phone calls. The work performed was excellent. The workers went a little long the first day, well after dark. We were very pleased with the workmanship. However, the office/customer relation skills need some work.

Despite the fact that BTR had previously done 2 roof jobs for us (no problems; full payment made at time of service on both jobs); we could not get them to even return our phone calls, or answer our emails when we requested a quote on our recently purchased house. Too bad. This $10,000 roof job has now been let to another vendor who is doing a GREAT job for us!

Did repair as promised. Did not need access to inside of house. New skylight looks great, no more leaks, very satisfied with quality of job. They replaced our roof last year and we were very happy with that job too.
