Kevin arrived on time for the estimate, did a thorough inspection of the leaks and submitted a quote. Repair date was scheduled within 3 days. Repair man arrived on time, was polite and went right to work. Repaired the roof vents and showed me in detail what was leaking and how the repair was being made. Spent an hour trying to locate and repair the mystery leak. Based on findings took several measures to correct poor roof installation that might have caused the problem. Removed shingles over the area, installed ice barrier over the exposed area, replaced shingles and caulked nail holes. He also located and corrected poorly placed nails around the area. I'm waiting for another heavy rainstorm to confirm the successful repair.

The leak was only a problem in hard rain and since we haven't had a hard rain, we can't be 100% sure that the problem is solved yet. But there's no doubt that BTR did a terrific job. Both employees I met were courteous and very obviously skilled. The shingles were realigned beautifully, and they even blew the debris off our roof. Overall, we were very satisfied. When the time comes to replace our roof, BTR will be at the top of our list.

It was an excellent and professional experience, beginning with the estimate appointment. My estimator was on time, very thorough and knowledgeable, and explained everything in detail. They were very busy, but came back to do the repair when promised. The roofer was cordial, thorough, and left not a bit of mess. I would definitely use them again.

My only complaint: as far as I know, is that no one from the company supervised or signed off on the job. As the crew was composed of Latinos, communication re. questions I had was very limited. Had I been able to climb up on the roof and inspect the workmanship myself, this complaint would be moot. So far, it appears the work was satisfactory, but I would prefer to have had a company representative inspect and approve the job in person and answer my questions.

Dennis came out and gave me a quote (I had several comparison quotes that I got from people in my neighborhood that had had their's done by other companies) so I felt it was competitive and BTR was also recommended by a coworker. The shingles had to be special ordered to match a garage built 3 years ago and I was called when the shingles were received. Told the materials would be delivered on Friday and the work to begin on Monday. The workers arrived on Monday and finished by Tuesday night. Everything looks very good and the clean up was excellent. The workers were very polite and focused on their work. I am very satisfied with the work, and would highly recommend them.

THE SALESMAN, DENNIS BAKER, WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND FILLED ME IN ON A FEW "SHORT CUTS" THAT OTHER ROOFERS OFTEN USE. HE KEPT ME WELL-INFORMED OF THEIR WORK SCHEDULE, WHICH WAS AFFECTED BY A LOT OF RAIN AT THE TIME. THE JOB WAS STARTED AND COMPLETED EARLIER THEN SCHEDULED. THE NEXT DAY, BTR SENT SOMEONE OUT TO INSPECT THE WORK DONE (WALKED AROUND THE ENTIRE ROOF) AND TO SEE IF I HAD ANY QUESTIONS AND IF I WAS SATISFIED WITH THE WORK. BTR'S PRICE WAS ALSO SIGNIFICANTLY LOWER THAN QUOTES FROM TWO OTHER ROOFING COMPANIES. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BTR FOR YOU ROOFING NEEDS.

Kevin was the sales person, he was very polite and explained everything very well. It helped me make up my mind as to what shingle to go with for our home. He gave me a competitive price, and they did a great job. I give them an A.

From start to finish, I would give this company an A. Everyone I spoke to was friendly and courteous. The work was performed in a timely manner. They did a complete cleanup. I haven't found a loose nail on the ground, which I did the last time we had a roof put on.

Had 2 leaks in the house and these were traced back to damaged shingles and missing flashings. Mr. McHugh came out, inspected the roof and pointed out all the problems he found. His quote outlined each problem area so I could repair only the area that I wanted fixed. I decided to have all items, even those that were not currently causing a leak but could present a problem in the future, repaired. The roofers came the next week and fixed everything on the list. They were quick and cleaned up the job site. I have not had any leaks since the repair were completed.

On a Saturday, there was a storm with very high winds. On Sunday, we found that a shingle on the roof vent and blown off of our detached garage, you could see straight up to the sky. We called them Monday morning and by Friday all was repaired. The representative was very courteous, he surveyed the roof of the detached garage as well as the entire house. I was expecting them to tell me we needed to replace the entire roof. He said the roof looked good and should last several more years; however, the boot on one of the vent pipes was cracked. He recommended replacing the boot. When they replaced the shingle, they found the root cause. The roof vent shingles were held on only with adhesive, the original roofers had used a nail gun and the nail ripped through the shingles. Amazingly it had lasted 10 years. They inspected the remaining shingles on the house and the garage and secured suspect shingles as necessary. They were running late on the day of the repair because they had not completed a job as they expected, which we appreciated given we wouldn't want to leave our job unfinished to go to another. We were notified and they had all repairs made before any rain.

BTR showed up when they said they would, brought everything they needed with them, worked professionally and rapidly, cleaned up afterwards and generally impressed me.

Kevin was the technician that came out. They were very responsive with their emails and got back with me quickly. He was nice, friendly, professional and punctual. He was very cordial and easy to get along with. They did what they promised and I haven't had any problems since. They did a great job and were easy to work with. I plan on using them soon again to do an addition for our master bedroom.

I called; they got back to me promptly, as soon as I faxed in the signed contract I received a call indicating that they would move us to the top of the list and within a day the roof was repaired just as promised. The most painless work I've ever had done.

Very satisfied with BTR's work. Dennis, owner promised to get to our roof within the week due to potential water damage for a leaking roof. The crew showed up on time and was very polite. They continued to work until the job was complete. They were very particular with their work and continuously cleaned up as they were completing the job. The estimate was not exceeded. We will definitely rehire this team if more work is needed.

The estimator came earlier than the appointed time. He was courteous and look over only what was causing the window problem. It was the worker who discovered the flashing problem with the pipe vent collar. The worker looked over the entire roof. After his discovery we had to call the estimator back to provide us with a cost estimate of the pipe vent problem. So what started out as one problem evolved in to two work situations. Had we known about the pipe collar problem, the job would had take one visit and less cost. In spite of this fact the workers were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The workmanship carries a one year warranty.

All work was done quickly and professionally. Two and 1/2 day job. Clean up was excellent.

Company representative Dennis Baker came out to my house and gave a detailed estimate of the work to be done. His crew did an fine job keeping the project moving along, protecting the garden areas adjacent to the house, repairing and replacing damaged wood and cutting the ridge vent. I have a 14' x 22' flat roof over my sunroom and they did a good job of replacing the disaster that another roofer had left me some years before. All in all, a job well done.

Kevin was on-time for our initial meeting. He spent a lot of time talking to me and answering my questions, and he seemed very sincere and knowledgeable. He disclosed that I really didn't need a ridge vent because I have an attic fan and no soffit vents. This information was useful to me when talking to other contractors. The work was scheduled quickly, and (after a few weather delays) was completed in one day. The crew did a good job of cleaning up nails, but they did leave a lot of plastic wrappers and rubber bands around. Overall, my experience was good. We are happy with the roof. The only thing I thought could be better when working with this company was communication. I had to call several times to follow up when I thought the company should have taken the initiative to call me. A couple times I called the office and there was no answer and no voice mail.

BTR was GREAT! Highly recommend them and would definitely recommend and/or use again. Our first contact was with Kevin (owner family). He was very prompt, responsive, and concerned for our satisfaction during the quotation, during the work, and after the work was completed. He was super responsive after the job. BTW took great care our house and landscape and did a very professional job. PRICE--I received 4 competitive quotes and BTR was the lowest, not by much in all case, but we think that they delivered very good value for the money invested.

We got 2 estimates from companies we heard a lot about. Kevin came in slightly higher but I liked the vent system he offered better than the other company. Our house is 3100 square feet. The job took 3 days. I am really happy with the work they did. The roof looks great, they cleaned up nicely and even left their nail magnet so I could double check areas my kids tend to go barefoot in. I highly recommend them!

His recommendation was to replace the roof and he provided an estimate. After conferring with a few other contractors, none so prompt and professional, my wife and I decided to go with BTR. We were able to schedule the roof replacement within the next week and the job was completed in about 1.5 days. Their crew was very courteous and showed up right on time and did an amazing job cleaning up afterwards. They acted like one of the crews you see on "Holmes on Homes", just come in a do a professional job from start to finish. The only thing that was above the estimated amount was due to two pieces of plywood that were replaced. The only thing that I would caution other list members on is that they do charge a service charge if paying by credit card, so ask about it up front.

I interviewed four roofing contractors from Angie's List. Any would have been satisfactory, but I chose BTR as I felt comfortable with Kevin and the company, plus I had used them on another house several years ago. Their crew worked around Christmas and New Years holidays and several rain storms. The job itself took 1 and 1/2 days. There were a few issues at completion that needed attention, but David (on his day off) and Kevin were at my house on New Years eve to insure we were satisfied. The few issues we had were resolved quickly and professionally.

I was pleased with the job that they did. There was a section of the roof that was not properly finished. They came back out with no problem and took care of this. They did leave a few nails on the ground, but from my understanding it's difficult to get every single nail, but there were a few. They tore a small section of our window screen when they were removing the shingles, but they replaced it the next day! There was a shingle that they laid and it was overlapping the roof line. They came back out to trim this as well. They came out in a timely manner. I would definitely use them again. This work was done in August.

BTR's estimate by far was the most complete. The technician didn't just look at the roof from the ground, but got up on the roof and inspected it for damage that might be unseen from the ground. During his inspection, he found that additional shingles had been knocked loose, and there were some other aspects of our roof that needed to be considered for repair. He provided me a detailed, 3 step estimate, including the estimate for the original work I requested, and the work he'd recommend we consider. I wound up electing to have all the repair work done. I didn't have to be home during the repair. They did the work, cleaned-up around the house, and it was for a fair price - and great turnaround.
