They did a good job! I was happy with the finished product. It did take some time for them to follow up with payment and complete the last detail of the job (re-installing shutters). Once this was addressed, everything was great! Most importantly, we haven't had any issues with the roof leaking!

Great service, good price, and even exceeded the amount of insulation material submitted in their proposal.

They were very professional and answered questions very well. They gave a detailed description of what they were going to do. They gave an immediate price and proposal on site which was nice. They were the most expensive of my four bids.

I used a smaller company instead but BTR was a close second choice for me after receiving the quotes.

They did an excellent job and we can feel the improvement in comfort already. They were very neat and even took their shoes off before stepping on the carpets, even though they then had to carry them and put them back on in the attic, They were punctual, neat and very courteous. Although not on the work order, we had noticed a slipped roofing shingle while they were here and they repaired it at no charge.

We obtained about 4 estimates and went with BTR because we liked their product (They use shingles rated #1 in Consumer Reports, corning shingles) and their price. They also were willing to give us a discount because our neighbors used them for their roof as well. BTR came on time, had a crew of about 10 people (2 of whom worked on removing the dormers), and did a great job. Their crew did an extremely thorough cleanup of our yard and home, and we're very satisfied. It took them almost two full days to complete the job.

BTR team was on time and finished the job in a very professional manner. Clean up was thorough.

Answered call and came out for estimate promptly; wrote up estimate on the spot. Demonstrated knowledge and experience without playing games. Work was done quickly and professionally.

The technician was very nice and a hard worker. The paint labeled 'outside trim' was not the right color, and he came back after we got the correct color. He was on time, which I loved.

They returned our calls promptly and were also punctual. They explained in great details in the difference in the types of shingles and our options. They mentioned the high grade shingles but didn?t give us a hard sale on anything. They explained the options for ventilation and cooling the option and recommended a cheaper route. I appreciated that BTR made three extra trips to meet with my insurance adjuster to help me with the claim. They did a lot more then expected trying to work with the insurance company.

They started the job on a Tuesday, then had to wait for the gutter company to replace damaged gutters. They came back on Thursday and completed all repairs. It has been 18 months, and we have had absolutely no problems with our roof. Very pleased!

They quoted us a price and they were spot on.

I found the people at BTR helpful in explaining product details and prompt in scheduling the installation day. The crew arrived at eight, had the old roof off and hauled off by noon. It was ninety-seven degrees that day so they stayed off the roof until about three. At that time they got back at it and had everything done and cleaned up by seven thirty and rolled out. I would not have minded having the crew boss introduce himself and give me a time frame overview. But that is the little picture. The big picture is that I got exactly what I wanted in a timely manner and so far I can not find a single nail that those guys missed in the clean up. Now it has not rained on it yet, but it will surprise me (a lot) if this thing leaks. How long do we leave your ad sign out in the yard, Bill?

They were prompt, did quality work, and picked up all debris.

BTR Construction did a great and professional job replacing our roof. From start to finish it was a very stress free experience. Beginning with Chris who provided us our estimate, to the crew who did the work, and to Dave who came after the job was completed to give a final inspection, we found everyone to be very professional and more than willing to answer any question or concerns that we might have had. The job took two days and both days the crew showed up early and went right to work. They showed respect for our property and took a lot of care in ensuring that nothing was damaged and that the property was thoroughly cleaned each day. I think they provided good value for the cost and we've gotten a lot of nice comments from neighbors too. We would definitely use them again and recommend them as well.

They did a pretty good job. It was a basic job and only took them about 10 minutes to complete. They were easy to work with; we had no complaints.

Day of the estimate Dennis called and said the estimator scheduled to come out was sick. Dennis said he would come out himself but was running late. That was not a problem, he did call. My first question to him which I had also asked when I scheduled the estimate were they licensed to work in South Carolina and were any permits needed? Don't come out if you can't work in SC. He didn't know if permits were needed and didn't commit that we was licensed in SC. He wanted me to find out if permits were needed. I started to get uneasy feeling. This roof replacement was due to hail damage so I informed him an insurance claim was involved. He was the only contractor that asked how many squares the insurance adjustor said was needed. I hesitated but told him. The estimate did not state the number of squares being quoted and came in several thousand below all the other estimates I have received. I then found out my insurance adjustor had made mistake and underestimated the number of squares needed. When I called BTR back and asked for clarification on how many squares were included in the quote it was basically the number I had given him. When I told him the number was wrong and way below what was actually required he stated he did question that the number seemed low but did the quote based on that number anyway so he would not lose the job. That is not what I wanted as the homeowner. I expect if something appears to be incorrect to question it and provide a professional and complete estimate. I asked again about licensing and that his staff needed to find out what was required to do work in South Carolina or just tell me he can't do the job. He said he would look into it but by this time I just had an uneasy feeling about the whole thing. They are a Owens Corning Platinum Preferred provider but they charge for the warranty and so far my contacts with Owens Corning Preferred Providers has not been good. There is another working the area that I have talked to, and they pulled out suddenly from SC something to do with insurance reimbursement rates in SC being low so they weren't doing jobs in SC. Therefore I'm avoiding Owens Corning Preferred providers. I'm still deciding on who should do the work but I have eliminated BTR because of the licensing question and what I think is an inaccurate estimate.

They were polite, responsive, and did the work quickly.

Dennis Baker, the owner of the company, carefully inspected the roof and advised us of a couple of design problems that made it inevitable that the roof would continue to leak even though we had used 2 other companies to repair it. He was very knowledgeable and thoroughly explained the problem and our options. Members of the crew arrived on time and were a pleasure to work with. The work was completed in 2 days. Dennis inspected the new roof to ensure that every detail was correct.

The assessment was good and thorough and communication regarding the work order was efficient. The time between estimate and work done was good. Worker was on time, polite, completed the job in a timely manner, and he cleaned up.

Our insurance company covered it but I think the price was fair.

I thought they did a good job and we did not have any problems. They cleaned up the grounds every day.

The overall experience was positive. They were the only roofing company that I could find that was willing to work with us from a timing perspective. Everybody else wanted to wait 6-8 weeks to do the job. They had originally said that to us, but I had gone back to them because there was literally a hole in the roof, so we didn't want to wait. They were able to fit us in.

Repairs were done as needed, with no problems to date. Some carpentry was done on soffet where roof was not lying flat. This was done to satisfaction. Estimate was provided first by owner of company. He advised me of why I had the problems and advised me on all possible solutions. Very polite and professional. The worker who came to do the work was proficient and skilled. He was ready and able to take care of all the problems in very timely manner. I would hire them again and have passed on their name to neighbors.
