They performed all the work agreed upon. This has been a very rainy summer so it took awhile for them to be able to do the work, but the first sunny day they were there. After they left we noticed a small problem with the gutters on the back of the house. When the man returned for the payment we told him about it. He got out a ladder and an umbrella and fixed it the rain. Our mailbox had fallen off the house, and one of the employees put it back up for us without being asked. Probably took him less than five minutes, but it was those two things that really showed us what kind of company we were dealing with. I don't know anyone who will make repairs in the rain, but you can tell they stand behind their work. I was so very impressed.

BTR replaced my roof 5 years ago, and a week or so ago I develped a leak near one of the boots around a pipe. On the initial inspection, they could not find anything that was causing an obvious leak. Made a suggestion of how to see if it was coming down the outside of the pipe. Over the weekend, water was leaking again, and on inspection while it was still raining, I saw that the water was coming in around a nail. I called BTR again, Bill came out this morning, I showed him the nail ( in the attic), he went on the roof, found the culprit and fixed it. He also resealed around all of the boots. Awesome group!

They're very professional. They gave us a discount for finding them on Angie's List and being a first time customer. They also did a full roof evaluation for free, and gave us recommendations. They're great.

Dennis came out to have a look and give me a bid. He said, "I bet I'm the only one you called that climbed a ladder to look at the damage". He was right. He wrote a detailed list of everything needed to be done. He drew a diagram of the house pointing out roof damage, where the new downspout went etc. I called three companies from Angie's List. Jumbo never showed up for the appointment or called. Another company gave a lower bid and I felt they would have done a good job. I went with BTR Construction because they detailed, in writing, what was to be done and gave me a dollar amount per foot if more rotten wood was found. The fascia is covered with vinyl siding so that was difficult to determine. The 3 man crew did a very good job and cleaned up well. The front of our home looks great and we are happy with the job.

The company came out and performed the service for the big deal. They were great, no complaints. Excellent experience.

They did exactly what they were going to do and they did it fine. They left. They came and conquered and they were gone. Everything was great.

The salesman was great and answered all of my questions. He even helped with the insurance claim. The roofers showed up and did an amazingly fast job. They were in and out in several days. My complaints (and I decided not to pursue them) were: 1. The nails they used in the roof were way too long and penetrated substantially thru the roof. This caused a LOT of debris in the attic - which was not cleaned up, probably because they didn't know about it. (I list this as a complaint because the first time I had the house reroofed, the nails were not a problem as shorter nails were used. They did penetrate the roof but did not cause all of the debris. 2. I'm still picking up pieces of roofing and nails on the grounds. 3. The gutter guard was not replaced correctly and has a jagged edge to it. But since it seems to be working, I again choose not to complain. The reroofing is working fine with no leaks and I am satisfied. I also was a bit surprised that the salesman didn't come by after the job was complete to see if I was satisfied. But other salesmen haven't come by after they finished their work so I guess that that's the norm. I just thought it would be a nice touch.

They were really good. They gave us a great quote and clearly know what they are doing. We just ended up using a different company.

The owner of the company took the time to call me personally, and took the time to make sure that I felt comfortable with their action plan for the roof. The work was completed on time, and we were very pleased. I would not hesitate to use BTR again!

Arrived on time. Performed service per "deal". Did not try to talk me into a bunch of other services.

I contracted with BTR to replace the roof with the requirement that the work be done in accordance with GAF's (the shingle manufacturer) recommendations, the National Roofing Contractors Association Standards (NRCA) for one specific detail that GAF did not address, the building code and the recommendations of the Suntuf polycarbonate roofing panels manufacturer that were used over my deck. This was discussed in detail prior to prior to executing the contract and I was told that it had to be reviewed by a higher up since it was a significant deviation from their standard contract. I wanted it done this way so that it would be a quality installation and that there would be no debating how something was suppose to be done with the manufacturers? recommendations referenced in the contract. The results after five months is that I have a roof on the house that has a section of decking that appears to be collapsing, see the first picture. A deck that has numerous leaks, see the second picture, and a summons requiring me to respond to the court with a reply that seems to be technical enough that I will have to hire an attorney to handle it. In addition to these major issues the more I look at and understand the requirements for a quality installation (one that the manufacturer will stand behind the warranty, among other things) the more issues there are. By posting this I am hoping that Angie?s list will be able to assist me in getting the work corrected or some sort of suitable settlement.

The owner, Dennis Baker, is a very nice man and he took his time and explained all the possible causes of the roof leak. He said that the pipe collars were installed incorrectly and they were the most likely cause of the leak. He also told me the next step to take if the roof still leaked after the repair, (calling a plumber to check for a hole in the pipe collar). The roof didn't leak after the last rain, so I think this repair took care of the problem. Dennis told me it might be 2-3 weeks before they could do my repair, but I was called three days later and told that he finished another job early and that he could do my repair that day. I gave them my credit card information on the phone, and he arrived and completed the repair before I arrived home. I'm very happy with BTR.

Repaired, but still leaking, called and they came back in 2 days and did excellent repair work.

They came without my having to meet them at my home and miss work. They did a wonderful job and it was of no inconvenience to me! Thank you so much! I will call them again!

BTR brought in a subcontractor and did a great job to complete a full roof replacement. BTR is honest and provide great products, but there was a disconnect between us and them. I found the entire installation stressful. We won't call them again but if you can work with last minute scheduling and no foreman on the job to communicate with the roofers on your behalf, you will get a great product.

Fully inspected the roof and gutters-cleaned and repaired the gutters. Hail damage on the roof, repaired that also.

They were very professional and reasonable.

Repair was done without my presence, work was completed as stated. It stormed last night shortly after the repair and no leaks were found after my inspection.

He showed up a little late, maybe 10 - 15 minutes. I really didn't need to be home for the service and will probably just have them come next time without taking time off from work. Was very nice and professional. Did a good job. I would hire this company again.

They pointed out that I have some wind damage and that I might be able to have it fixed and covered by my insurance which I didn't know and that was case. So, I have it fixed and it was covered by my insurance and that was very helpful.

They came out and did the service on a morning. They didn't charge me more than what I have paid for.

It was fabulous service. The man that came out was friendly and thorough!!

The work turned out pretty good. However they left some debris in the yard.
