The service representative arrived on-time to evaluate my leaking roof problem and promptly and correctly determined the source of the leak. The rep took pictures with his smart phone so he could show me the problem areas and where the repair efforts needed to be directed. I had sought three companies for evaluation and estimates. One wanted to replace my entire roof under the guise of 'hail damage' and lay the cost off on my homeowners insurance. Another came out and evaluated my problem but never followed up with a value proposition. I asked BTR for another visit in order to make sure i understood clearly the problem, problem areas, and repair methods. They came out the second time without hesitation and stayed until all my questions were answered. Repairs were scheduled and the repair team arrived at the proper time and day. Repairs were made quickly and apparently correctly as i no longer have leaks.

After purchasing The Big Deal for BTR's "Four Hours of Carpentry" on December 16, 2013, Kevin McHugh arrived December 30 and provided me an estimate. I agreed to the work and the estimate in writing. It is now February 21, 2014 and after multiple calls to both his office and his cell phone, I have never received a call back. Today I will request a refund of my original down payment of $99. Very disappointed because I have used BTR in the past on a rather large job and was completely satisfied. Now I have lost all confidence and will contract with other companies in the future.

They did a great job. They did advise us that some of our gutters needed to be straightened, and provided a quote to do that work as well. Overall, a great experience and no complaints.

A one man operation. He removed shingles from the rear of the roof and placed them on the front of the roof. Then he installed new shingles on the rear of the roof. They had done the roof replacement about 15 years ago, and had a deal on Angie's List for roof repair. Since we were satisfied with the original roof replacement, we used the coupon for this repair, and it went well. Previously they had done a different repair, and it was done well. We have been satisfied with BTR over the years.

They said they would call me, but never contacted me. I had to contact them at least twice before I got an appointment. Their initial assessment of the wood damage did not come until 3 months after purchasing the coupon. They sent me the quote for over $1,000 in an email and said to reply with any questions. They did not respond so I had to email again. I had asked if I could apply my credit toward the repair of a portion of the entire job and that is when they said my coupon is only good for labor, not materials. I went back to the original coupon and it does not explicitly say that it does not cover materials. It says it is good for 4 hours of wood rot repair AND 4 hours of labor. At that time I asked for a refund because I was led to believe I was paying for the repair (materials and labor). They claimed it explicitly states that the coupon does not cover materials, but I still have yet to see that.

Got a quote for $960 and I could apply $200 credit to this estimate based in the $99 coupon I purchased . Difficult to get a return call. Very nice people, but offer was a bit misleading , and estimate was very high.

When I went to paint the work done, I found some gaps in the silicone/filler than they had placed, which I had to fill. The wood was replaced, but it "looks like it has been replaced." Not thrilled, but not completely dissatisfied either.

Owner came out to assess & offer a bid after purchasing the deal thru Angie's List. His bid was over $1,000. Had the vendor I selected perform the service for $450. I am requesting a refund, please.

they did an excellent job and i referred them to my neighbor. my neighbor also had a wonderful experience with them and felt they were extremely honest and trustworthy. totally recommend them for the job.

BTR workers did a very good job. Very professional and easy to work with. I certainly would recommend the company to other people.

The job went very smoothly. BTR had done a minor repair job on our roof 2 years ago. I remember being impressed with their overall level of service so I called them about getting an estimate on a new roof. Dennis came by to give us a quote. He did an excellent job of communicating the options we had and provided a great detail of information on roofing in general. He was very thorough and never pushy, even recommending we look at a couple houses they recently roofed before deciding. The cold weather presented a challenge to the start date and heavy rains led to a leak where the existing plywood was already rotted. We literally had water dripping into our front room. I called Dennis and he sent one of his guys to our house on Christmas Eve to patch it until the weather cooperated for the re-roof. That was tremendous customer service. Once they started, the crew showed up at 7:30 each day and worked until dusk, often packing up in the dark. The whole roof was completed in under (3) days on a 4,300 sq ft house. Upon completion, BTR sent someone out to do a final inspection. He walked the entire roof to inspect and made sure we were fully satisfied. Overall, it was a great experience. The roof looks fabulous and I would highly recommend BTR to anyone needing roofing work.

They did a very good job with everything, but after replacing the rotted wood the front door stuck to the point that I could not open it. They removed the door and sanded it and the door sill until it could be opened again. Also, I checked the insulation in the house crawlspace and found about a 10-15-foot length at the entry where there was no insulation. I did call their office to let them know of this. I drove to a big box store and purchased a roll of insulation and installed it myself.

I did have to pay for the materials after purchasing the labor through the deal. One man came out to look at what initially needed to be done and two men completed the work. They arrived on time and cleaned up well after the job was complete. They were easy to work with and they did a great job!

Purchased Big Deal 11/8/13. Mr. Baker came out on 11/25/13 to look at the house to provide a proposal. He was very professional. After our discussion of work needed, he provided a written proposal and answered additional questions I had by email. He quickly provided an updated proposal when I confirmed a different type of siding needed to be used for the project. After reviewing two other contractors' proposals, I decided to use a different contractor to do the work.

It was pretty good. It went fine. The people that came out were nice. They came and did the job. They did a pretty good job. The price wasn’t bad.

Got an email that they had a huge response to the Big Deal. They called 11-20-13 and I was on the road and asked that they call next week to schedule. Never did hear from them

BTR did a great job at great pricing and came right away when other companies could not come for weeks would highly recommend!

Since I needed to meet on my lunch hour for an estimate I required promptness - Dave was there before I even got home. He was knowledgeable, professional and polite. He explained what needed to be repaired, his company's availability to do the work as well as the cost. I had joined Angie's list to find a reputable roofer and Dave made me feel very comfortable that his company would do a good job. They came back the following Monday to repair the roof and siding and I am very happy with the results. As I will be faced with having to install a new roof in the next 5 years I will most certainly be considering BTR Roofing for the job.

After provider came by to see the repairs needed, I was unable to afford the additional $500 to $600 estimated charges on top of the $99 already paid. The work was for repairs to the existing fence and lattice work. I emailed provider to take everything off the list except one item (repairing fence post) to reduce charges. I did not get a response. On the positive side, provider was personable, but I just cannot afford their services.

I wanted to get some trim work done around my garage doors and entrance door. I purchased the "$99 for 4 hours of carpentry" deal. The company sent a representative to estimate the job. I was given a quote for $2,600. I was prepared to pay a little more (obviously materials would have been at least a couple hundred dollars), but the total cost estimate was far higher than i was prepared to spend for the job involved.

They did a great job. They were very efficient and had great workmanship. They cleaned up everything after the work was done.

We had a tree fall on our roof, so we reached out to many local roofing companies to provide estimates. It became apparent that most were not willing to do as small a job as our roof required, but BTR was one of the few and we ended up using them. Not only did they have someone come out the day after I called, but we received a quote that was one of the most honest ones we received. They did a great job of outlining our options for us, and giving us realistic estimates of the time required for each. After we decided to go with them, they were at our house within the week and finished the job quickly and efficiently. Everyone I encountered there was courteous and professional - we highly recommend them.

They said they sold too many jobs and could not get to my job after repeated e-mails and phone calls.....nothing I like to hear more than Excuses!
